Bugi is a minor antagonist in the 2021 Roblox story horror game The Mimic, serving as a supporting antagonist in Jealousy's Book: Chapter III.
He is a demon residing in Jigoku that wanders around the Abandoned Village. He tries to kill Isamu Uchiumi when the latter began sacrificing his "children", the Larvae, to a Nurikabe in order to escape the village.
Appearance[]
Bugi appears as a large male figure wearing a black cloak and a dark brown sack over his head. The sack has a hole in the mouth area, which reveals he has sharp, yellow teeth and a long red tongue. He wields a red chainsaw known as Mochi, which possesses razor sharp teeth and three eyes with red irises and pupils.
In Nightmare Mode, Bugi retains most of his normal appearance, however the sack in his head is ripped open, which reveals four Larvae bodies in where his brain should be. Additionally, Bugi's wrists are also made up of Larvae bodies, and his chainsaw Mochi has glowing red eyes.
Personality[]
Bugi is shown to be an extremely aggressive and maniacal slaughterer, constantly running around wielding his chainsaw. He seems to have some sadistic tendencies as if he catches Isamu, he will slice the latter with his chainsaw while growling maniacally. It's implied this behavior stems from Isamu sacrificing a Larvae to a Nurikabe who ate it, and according to Hakamori, the Larvae are considered "his children."

Currently, Bugi's past remains unknown. All that's known is he resides in Jigoku in an abandoned village with his "children", a group of Larvae.
Jealousy's Book: Chapter III[]
After Isamu exits a haunted train and into the Abandoned Village, Hakamori rises from the ground and explains that in order to leave, Isamu has to feed a number of Larvae to "the one blocking his path" which is a Nurikabe. But he has to be careful as the man will try to protect his children. Once Isamu feeds one Larvae to the Nurikabe, the sky around the village becomes red as Bugi will scream loudly and begin patrolling the area. After Isamu feeds all the Larvae, Nurikabe will yell into the sky before leaving, allowing Isamu to leave the village and Bugi behind; after this encounter, Bugi is never seen again.
Trivia[]
- Bugi's name is written in Katakana, and translates to "boogey", which is a reference to the infamous monster known as the Bogeyman.
- It's implied that Bugi is the father of the Larvae, as Hakamori refers to the latter being the "children" and the "man here" is Bugi. It's more apparent if one sees his design for Nightmare Mode which shows several Larvae bodies composing Bugi's head.
- Bugi and Shihyosha are the only enemies in Jealousy's Book to carry around a weapon, with Bugi carrying his living chainsaw Mochi, and Shihyosha wielding his scythe.
