Marlon Thompson, better known as the Burbank Bandit is the main antagonist of the Dhar Mann video Kids Take Halloween Prank Too Far. For a majority of the video, his name was unrevealed as he was only referred to as the Burbank Bandit, but his real name was revealed in the climax.
He is portrayed by Asger Folmann.
Biography[]
Prior to the events of the video, it was implied that the Burbank Bandit was a troublemaker at the high school who would repeatedly get into trouble for his misbehavior, most likely due to his pranks going too far, leading to him getting expelled, which is what Frank and Hunter would become if they did not stop their pranks anytime soon, as Principal Owens states. Of course, the two don't listen, as they decide to pull another prank, this time on the principal himself, so Frank tells Hunter to see if he left, which he does so, only to get captured by the Burbank Bandit, who drags him away. Frank asks Hunter if he is there and checks around the corner, only to get captured as well.
The two then find themselves strapped to chairs in the school's basement. The bandit removes the bags from their heads and tells them that if they do exactly what he says, then nobody will get hurt. However, Frank and Hunter think it's a joke and laugh, believing he is a paid actor hired by their teacher, Miss Walker. But the bandit tells them to be quiet and insists he is serious. He then takes their phones and leaves, giving Frank and Hunter a chance to call for help via the intercom. It works, but nobody believes them as they have lied and pulled pranks on the school many times. The principal tells everyone to ignore it.
The bandit returns and tells them they shouldn't have done that, and that nobody is coming to save them. He then closes the gate. Hunter gets an idea to scare the Burbank Bandit by dressing up in a costume, so he frees himself. When the bandit returns and asks Frank where Hunter went, the latter says he doesn't know. The bandit notices the rope on the floor, which leads to a box. Hunter emerges from it, scaring the Burbank Bandit and making him run away. Frank says that now all they have to do is find everyone and call the cops, but the cops have already arrived, as the school called them once Frank called the intercom, despite not believing him earlier.
Once the Burbank Bandit runs out of the basement door, he is confronted by a group of heavily armed police officers and is immediately arrested and taken into custody. Realizing that Frank and Hunter had foiled him, he becomes furious at them, but the police restrain him and tell him to relax. Upon hearing the name "Marlon", the principal is shocked to find out that the Burbank Bandit is none other than Marlon Thompson, a former student at the school before getting expelled. Thompson angrily blames Principal Owens for ruining his life, before getting led away by the police into the car.
Personality[]
Not much is known about the Burbank Bandit other than the fact that he was implied to be a huge troublemaker, leading to him getting expelled by the principal, afterwards becoming a criminal, in which he becomes extremely violent, kidnapping Frank and Hunter to blackmail them, possibly because they remind him of his past self.
