Biography
The robot Bus Conductor was created by Bellboy, a member of the Psychic Circus. When the circus came under the control of the Gods of Ragnarok, the Bus Conductor was reprogrammed as a killer and left to guard the circus' old tour bus, which contained the eye to a medallion that could destroy the Gods. Flowerchild, a renegade member of the circus, went to the bus to try and recover the medallion but was killed by the Bus Conductor. The robot later attacked the Doctor, Ace, Captain Cook and Mags when they stumbled across the bus, automatically repeating its old ticket-related requests as it did so. The Doctor confused it by making an elaborate ticket order, then disabled it with a shot from its own laser-equipped ticket dispenser.
Bellboy, who was being held prisoner by the Chief Clown, was forced to repair the Bus Conductor, which was returned to its former guard position. Ace and Deadbeat went to the bus to try and recover the medallion but were attacked by the Bus Conductor again. While Ace struggled with the robot, Deadbeat completed the medallion, regaining his memories and former persona of Kingpin, and told Ace there was a self-destruct button on top of the robot's head. Ace managed to hit the button and the Bus Conductor exploded.
