~ The Butcher explaining his ideology before fighting Shadow. |
The Butcher is a major antagonist in the Shadow Fight franchise. He is a social darwinistic bandit who kidnaps children and raises them to become criminals. Before the events of Shadow Fight 2, he, alongside five other powerful fighters, was dragged into the Shadow World through the Gates of Shadows, created by the alien conqueror Titan. Here, he became a host of Titan's Shadow Demon, and was freed alongside other Shadow Demon Hosts after Shadow, an arrogant warrior, opened the Gates, which resulted in the latter losing his physical body and soul.
Before being dragged into the Shadow World, Butcher was ordered by Shogun to kidnap the Prince of Ivory City, but let him go if he will give him money in exchange for freedom and location of the magical Sphere that the Prince seeks. After Prince returned without money, Butcher attempted to kill him and his companion Sensei, but the latter stopped him.
After his release from the Shadow World, Butcher became the keeper of the red demon seal, which, when combined with other demon seals, can open the Gates of Shadows. Shadow, in his quest to regain his body and soul, proceeded to defeat Butcher and his bodyguards, and claimed his seal. Butcher, alongside other Demons, returned when Shadow approached the Gates with all six Demon Seals, to stop him from opening it and unleashing Titan. Following Shadow's failed attempt to regain his body, Butcher and his bodyguards tried to stop Shadow once again, but failed, with Butcher saying that someone will stop Shadow from opening the Gates.
Appearance[]
Butcher is a bulky man in a grey jumpsuit and black hair tied in a bun. He has a demon symbol on his belt.
During the events of Old Wounds, he looks mostly the same, but now has visible pupils and black facial hair, is more muscular and his hair is now down.
Personality[]
Butcher is one of the most evil of the Shadow Demon Hosts, believing that only the strong survive and justifying his actions by saying that he turned his adoptive children into the top of the food chain. He believes that love makes people weak, and Rose, his favorite wife, states that he mistreats her. Despite this, however, he is afraid of Titan and is completely disgusted by what he does against his enemies.
In the Old Wounds Storyline, Butcher has similar personality, stating that he is adopting his bestial nature and that no one dares to question his authority. According to Torment, his first bodyguard, Butcher taught her that pain reveals out true self and freedom, while his second bodyguard, Razor, believes that philosophy is for dorks. However, he is also shown to dislike liars, such as Prince.
In Shades, Butcher has mostly redeemed himself & is shown to truly care for his gang, expressing worry about them when they joined Hermit & Guru's cult, the Family. He also says Hermit has lost his mind. When Shadow finds most of Butcher's gang members, he considers Shadow one of his "brothers" & says that whoever dared to mess with him answers directly to Butcher.
Biography[]
Nothing is known about Butcher's past, although at one point he became a cruel bandit who would kidnap children (after murdering their parents) and teach them to become criminals.

Butcher then explains what type of person Prince is before attempting to murder Sensei, saying that he will give a lesson of humiliation to him. After he and his gang is defeated, Prince escapes, with Butcher happily remarking that Sensei's new friend is a spineless liar. He then explains to Sensei that Shogun was convinced by a certain woman to overthrow and kill the Prince and promised him the Sphere, which will turn him into a great warlord, with Shogun doing all of this to become her liege. He then tells Sensei to go to the port, as the ship with the Sphere will arrive here.
