The Butchers are minor antagonists in POSTAL 2. They are a group of secretive butchers living in Paradise who work at the Meat World Butcher Shop in the Suburbs. They appear to be ordinary workers and butchers delivering meat to the homes and shops of Paradise, but the meat they produce is not from cows, pigs or chickens, but from people who think killing people and turning them into chops is great fun.
They are all voiced by Marcus Davis.
Overview[]
Butchers as well as Rednecks have no ideology and are not demonstrators. They are regular workers at the Meat World butcher plant and shop, all of them male, who manufacture the meat products in Paradise.
Unfortunately, although they look normal on the outside (despite their bloody aprons and hands), they are very quick-tempered, aggressive and brutal in their actions, and additionally they have a passion for kidnapping and killing people and then throwing them into meat grinders for pure fun. As soon as someone discovers their dark secret, they immediately try to kill the person who has seen too much so that their secret does not come to light. Animals also cannot feel safe around them. Their violent behavior can also be a sign of mental illness, but such behavior seems to be the norm in the Postal universe.
Gameplay[]
POSTAL 2[]
The Postal Dude can see a few members of the group since Monday, but they won't attack the Postal Dude until he goes to the Meat World Butcher Shop to buy some steaks on Thursday. On Thursday, when the Postal Dude goes to the Meat World Butcher Shop to buy some steaks for the Psychotic Friends' Association Grill, there is no one inside the shop to serve him. The Postal Dude who has no intention of skipping a steak purchase walks through the door that leads into the back room and into the processing plant. Inside he sees a macabre sight, as he sees a group of Butchers throwing live people into a huge meat grinder while laughing at the same time as if it was fun. After a while, the Butchers realize the Postal Dude's presence and start attacking him. Having no other choice, the Postal Dude has to break through the entire processing plant while fighting a large group of armed Butchers. They are not extremely armed and are easy to defeat, but it doesn't change the fact that he shouldn't be careful about them in general.
Later, many Butchers appear all over Paradise and they attack whenever they see him.
