Butler is the main antagonist of the 2003 anime film Pokémon: Jirachi, Wish Maker, the sixth film of the Pokémon franchise.
Butler was a vengeful villain who's ambitions come from embarrassment from colleagues. He took the offense seriously and focused his efforts into proving them wrong. In the end, he was proved wrong and regretted ever unleashing such a horrible beast to achieve his dream.
In Japanese, Butler was voiced by Kōichi Yamadera (Adult) and Kenji Nojima (Young).
In English he was voiced by Wayne Grayson.
Appearance[]
Butler is a tall man with long purple hair, and green eyes. His magician clothing is considered to be very fancy, with ribbons, white gloves, and generally a white aesthetic, similar to an actual Butler. When he was a part of Team Magma, he wore a typical scientist lab coat.

As a child, Butler's dream was to make everyone happy through his talent, and that cheery personality was the main reason that he and Diane fell in love. As an Adult, When performing he acts with a smile on his face, enjoying the cheers and appreciation. In reality, this was just to cover his villainous facade. Due to the embarrassment from Team Magma, he became vengeful, swearing to revive Groudon, and prove the Magma members wrong. Because of his obsession, he didn't care about anybody (he was especially opposed to those who wanted to save Jirachi). After the creation of the False Groudon, he instantly regretted everything he had done in the movie, and worked with the heroes to destroy the creature and save Diane. As a child, Butler's dream was to make everyone happy through his talent, and that cheery personality was the main reason that he and Diane fell in love.

- Butler has a reference in the Pokémon games Diamond and Pearl and their remakes. In the games, there is an Ace Trainer named Felix, that has a battle dialogue based on his anime counterpart. Along with that he also has Butler's main two Pokemon, Salamence and Dusclops. As an added bonus, Diane also makes an appearance, and it's possible to encounter the two in the double battle, symbolizing their romantic relationship.
- Butler is one of two Pokemon movie villains that make an appearance in a movie that isn't their original debut. The other being Mewtwo from Mewtwo Strikes Back.
