The Butt-erflies are minor antagonists of the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as the main antagonist of "The Bizzare Blitzkrieg of the Bothersome Butt-erflies".
They are a bunch of monsters created by George and Harold for payback on Melvin Sneedly for trying to ruin recess.
George and Harold’s use Melvin’s machine for payback time to drive Melvin crazy. So they combie butts and flies to make Butt-erfiles. Unfortunately, their monsters are dangerous and try to eat them and Melvin.
After hiding in the cafeteria, they to eat thorugh the walls, which lead to Jessica and all the kids blame Melvin for this and what to sacrifice him to the butt monsters. George and Harold make a comic do to tell the mob they did it and Melvin didn’t do it. Unfortunately, the mob believe they and Melvin did it, and kick out of the room.
Later, George and Harold turn Mr. Krupp into Captain Underpants to defeat them and save the day, they decided to send into the future with the Time Machine with wall-loaf. They are also the reason Melvin became half-cyborg in the future.
