Buzzer is a supporting antagonist in the G.I. Joe series. He is affiliated with COBRA as a member of the Dreadnoks, and usually leads the Dreadnoks when Zartan is absent.
Overview[]
Buzzer's real name is Dick Blinken. Born in Cambridge, England, he is the only Dreadnok who received "true education". He was once an extreme left wing Cambridge Sociology Don who went to Australia to research biker gangs. His experiences there turned him into the very thing he was researching. Finding society's morality to be two-faced and that stripping away his inhibitions made up for his intellectual displeasure, he was instilled with a desire to take society apart with a chainsaw.

Buzzer first appeared in the Sunbow G.I. Joe cartoon, along with Zartan, Ripper and Torch. Buzzer frequently appeared in the series along with the Dreadnoks. He often works closely with Ripper and Torch.
