Cadell is one of the three secondary antagonists (alongside Uto and Nico Sever) in the action adventure webnovel and Manwha series, The Beginnings After the End. He is Agrona's subordinate and a scythe commander of Central Dominion and is considered to be one of the strongest scythes as an Alacryan.

He is responsible for the murders of both kings and queens of Sapin and Eleanior from Dictathen as he ordered lyra to execute them as a sign of goodwill of his loyalty to Vitra.

Appearance

Cadell is a humanoid covered by grey battle armors. He has red eyes with a pair of twisted grey horns and a long grey hair. He is shown to be expressionless most of the time.

Personality

As a great subordinate, he look down on other beings. Cadell is a very cold individual but stills his frustration, especially when dying at the hand of Arthur.

Background

He was appointed as a scythe prior before the start of Dicathen invasion when Agrona was preparing to wage war against the continent and Cadell has been working in the shadows working on missions as a Wraith the right hand man of Agrona Vitra. He was sent to find Sylvia in Dicathen when she escaped from Agrona and is called the Dragon Slayer when he returned her corpse and beast core back in Taegrin Caelum in Alacrya.

Abilities

• Soulfire: a black flame that consumes everything in contact with and does not radiate heat. It destroys matter and energy with mana instead of burning. This ability also depletes the life force making impossible for a lance to use their mana on extended period of time and is also used to create weapons
• Black Iron: Similar to Uto, he uses shadow to utilize on generation black blood, but unlike the abilities of other retainers, he can create weapons out of anything from them.
