"Jake Moon?".
~ Cahill's hitman makes his only quote as he confronts Jake Moon and is seemingly prepared to kill him as unintentionally orchestrated by Jake's former gangland boss Johnny Allen himself.

Cahill's unnamed henchmen is a fictional character and minor antagonist of the British soap opera EastEnders, appearing only once in the episode 20th October 2006.

He was portrayed by an unknown actor.

History[]

He is a unnamed gangster from Albert Square in Walford, a fictional borough in East London, who was somehow affiliated to gangland boss Johnny Allen. This is most likely because the unnamed gangster works as a hitman for Johnny's cellmate Cahill, and this in turn would have resulted in the hitman doing services for Cahill and even for Johnny himself.

In October 2006, Johnny is serving time in prison for his criminal activities that involved the murders of both his rival Andy Hunter and local hardman Dennis Rickman as well as attempting to kill both his enemies Phil Mitchell and Grant Mitchell respectively. Johnny later planned to kill a man named Sean Slater for dating his daughter Ruby solely to exploit her financial gain. However, Johnny suffered a fatal heart attack in front of Cahill and instead requested him to carry out the hit in his favour.

Unfortunately, because Cahill was asked by Johnny to contact his henchman named Jake Moon to plan Sean's murder, Cahill mistakenly believed that Johnny had wanted Jake dead. It was then Cahill summoned the unnamed hitman and told him to kill Jake on behalf of Johnny, who later died in hospital. Thereafter as Jake was about to leave the square, the unnamed hitman found him and went to confront Jake before asking his name. It was then Jake's fate was left unknown for 18-years until it was revealed that Jake had survived in the end.
