Biography[]
After Leo's team arrives in the Brazilian jungle in order to locate him and Finado and Moribunda emerge to the surface, he appears before them, riding a huge boar. When the skulls collide with each other, he forms vines to capture them.
While Leo pretends to be a hunter to get his attention, he appears in the same characteristics, calling him Hunter . He throws a net to catch him but fails, although with his vines, he manages to make him fall. Then, he throws the trap again, and so, he takes him at full speed to his lair. It is known there that Finado and Moribunda were locked by him in a bird cage.
Upon arriving, he releases Leo and immobilizes him with his vines at the foot of a tree that emerges from the place. While the boy tells him that this power is a good trick, he asks him to shut up (still calling him "hunter"), and although the boy tells him that he is not, Caipora answers that his clothing says otherwise except for the hat, and that was too much. After he explains why he sought him out, Caipora silences him again with an extra vine in his mouth. He declares that as a defender of the jungle, he declares him guilty of plundering sacred lands, for which he will give him the maximum penalty that nature allows. He adds that since he loves irony, the method will be for the hunter to become the prey. Likewise, he covers him completely with vines.
Taking Leo to a part of the jungle, he promises Leo that when they are done, he can ask him whatever he wants, though he clarifies that the dead don't ask many questions . When the boy asks him what's next, he answers that he will be chased by the most cunning animal in the rainforest: the toad. That's when he sends a gigantic, toxic bull toad that he claims has no control over its anger.
As the huge amphibian chases Leo to the cliff overlooking the river, the latter appears above the entity to tell him that his days in the jungle are over, and says goodbye while hanging from a vine, far away from there.
When Leo manages to escape the toad, he stalks it while it calls out to him. Using his power, he creates a trap to leave him hanging. Leo admits that he managed to survive, and angrily asks where his giant amphibian went. When he reminds him of the deal, the toad says that no dirty hunter is going to interrogate him. Although Leo tells him not to force him, the toad asks if he is going to force him with the trap he has intentionally set (a fake one), laughing at him. He adds that it is a matter of intelligence, and that a third-rate hunter like him who can barely set a flimsy trap is not intelligent, but when he steps back, the real trap is activated and he is also left hanging at Leo's foot.
Finally, he agrees to answer whatever Leo wants. When the boy hands him a sheet of paper, he is surprised by the name Godofredo. After breaking the traps, he crosses his hands. Suddenly, he hears strange noises in the background, and thinks they are hunters. However, he is trapped by the Brotherhood (under Brother Grace's command) in a magical prison that completely immobilizes him. Leo shouts that he trusts him, calling him Hunter again . Then, he is taken on a Flying Boat to the base, in order to use his energy, this scene being seen by the animals of the jungle.
After Coyolxauhqui awakens, he is one of the monsters released to help the heroes stop the goddess.
Upon hearing the idea, he says it must be a joke. When Godofredo begs him to see reason, he tells him that he is sorry but that he has grown tired of listening to him.
When Leo asks the monsters who supports him, Caipora complains that he can't support him after his betrayal. He adds that he must go back to protecting his friends and let them fend for themselves. Even when Leo explains that he too has been tricked, he tells him that his excuse is useless and walks away.
