The Calamity Scout is a supporting antagonist in the Roblox video game Tower Defense X (TDX).

As the name implies, it is a scout sent by the leader of Hell Calamity, the overarching antagonist of the game.

Biography

In Game

The Calamity Scout appears as one of the main bosses in Endless mode.

At wave 71, there is a red tint in the sky that slowly intensifies every wave up to wave 80, implying that the enemies are sent by the Calamity Scout instead of Dr. Xenon. The scout appears on wave 80, and the Advisor is cut off, implying that the scout (or Calamity itself) somehow interfered with radio airwaves, showing it's power. Shortly after it appears, the Calamity Scout will summon a large horde of enemies. Depending on the map and how quickly the player defeats the scout, this is usually the only time it will use this ability, however it is possible for it to use the ability twice if not defeated quick enough. After enough health is depleted, the Calamity Scout will stun every tower with its screech, increase its speed and kill 25% of placed towers (this is unavoidable). After its defeat, it will disappear by sinking into a flaming red portal, presumably sending it back to Hell.

In an image of Dr. Xenon and her former companion Dr. Malory, a rock with Calamity's symbol can be seen in the background. In another image, the Calamity Scout can be seen on the top right monitor fighting the GDA. In the bottom left monitor, A REDACTED (with a similar appearance to Dr. Malory) is seen presumably attacking the camera. In other monitors, the Calamity Scouts forces are also shown attacking Dr. Xenon's henchmen and creations.

Trivia

• Calamity was previously designed to resemble Void from Tower Battles, and being named Calamity Void. However, this was changed later on to make him be a standalone major boss instead of being a modified version of the Void.
