I made a decision Sarah. A decision to get rid of that parasite for us. So why don't you make one right now. What do you want? You want to threaten me, you want to destroy this family? Or do you wanna come home, cause we can make that deal right now. I love you sweetheart, come home.

He was portrayed by Patrick Page, who also portrayed Norman Osborn in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, the Grinch in the short film of the same name, Judge Claude Frollo in the musical adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mr. Greentoes in Moville Mysteries, Hades in Hadestown and Satan in Helluva Boss.

Biography[]

Overview[]

Huntley grew up in the upper-class part of Chicago and looked down on the lower class. As an adult, he started his own business and became known as one of the wealthiest men in the city after it thrived to make millions a year. He married a woman named Jessica and they went onto have two children Sarah and Ian. Sarah was irrational as a child and grew up to be a drug addict and was sent to rehab each time.

In truth, Sarah's issues stemmed from the sexual abuse that she endured as a child from her own father. Huntley had repeatedly apologized for his actions, claiming he was sick at the time, but he never came forward to his wife and son who simply believed Sarah troubled. As a result of her continued attempts to numb the pain, Sarah was kicked out and the family remained none the wiser to the truth of Huntley's part.

"Little Bit of Light"[]

Huntley secretly met Sarah at a park, where she confronted him on his sexual abuse that was a step in her recovery. She lashed out at him, as he tried to calm her to avoid being exposed to any listening figures, but she couldn't hold in her resentment and condemned him for wrecking her life. Huntley apologized to calm her down, while at the same time trying to justify his pedophilic nature but she stormed off and he left soon.

Much later, Sarah's friend/lover Bobby Trent contacts him and is revealed to have set the event up and recorded everything. Trent blackmailed him into paying him off, otherwise he'd release the tape for all the city to see. Knowing such a scandal would ruin him, Huntley agreed and had his assistant secretly make the payments and Trent would increase the amount each time. Eventually, Huntley got tired of paying a "parasite" and decided to get rid of him.

Huntley arranged the location of the next meeting and when entering the car, he proceeded to shoot Trent in the face, killing him instantly. However, his rage was not satisfied, and he stabbed the latter's corpse more times for the blackmail. He left the scene and broke into Trent's home, destroying all the latter's equipment and searched for the evidence while unaware Trent had previously anticipated this while hiding the video in a wall and swallowed the audio file.

Trent's body was found, and the Intelligence unit looked into the murder and after Trent's daughter revealed she couldn't access her father's equipment, the search led them to find the house destroyed. The search soon led them to find Sarah, before visiting her family. Huntley feigned no knowledge of Trent and told them that his daughter was in rehab while watching his wife and son discuss how she is likely in trouble again.

Much later, Huntley moved his daughter to a luxury hotel, where he met her. Sarah confronted her father on killing her friend while Huntley tried to remain calm but snapped after her repeated accusations and stated that parasite had it coming for extorting him and questioned Sarah if she wanted to destroy their "loving" family like Trent was trying to do. He then calmed himself and told her that she can come home because he knows that's what she wanted. He begged her to come home, while voicing love for her.

An autopsy on Trent allowed Intelligence to find the audio file along with the video, which confirmed Huntley raped Sarah. When he is brought in, he denied the rape while only admitting to the bribes with Trent while lying that he didn't kill him. Sgt. Voight was aware of the deceit and knows from experience that Huntley is a man who hates being at another's beck and call, especially trash like Trent. However, he states at the end of the day, Huntley will be like the other perps he arrests. Huntley is amused and told him that he had an alibi from another rich friend, before leaving.

Intelligence were crossroads due to the statute of limitations running out on the rape, so they needed Huntley exposed for the murder. After tracking Sarah, they got her to see how her father was manipulating her to keep quiet and that she doesn't need a family that won't defend her. Sarah is motivated to testify.

Huntley and his lawyer are escorted by Voight and Olinsky to the interview room, with him being surprised to see Sarah speaking with Lindsay. He questions why Sarah's lawyer isn't present before being told she waived her right and will testify against him. He then hears his daughter discussing their meeting from the night of the murder, getting slightly worried by this. When he states Sarah is lying and they have nothing on him, his lawyer advises to keep quiet before Voight reveals that Trent had an effect on Sarah and showed her how to record everything. He takes out a recorder that plays the conversation between Huntley and Sarah at the hotel, where he admits to the murder and bribed her to come home. Shocked at hearing the compelling evidence, Huntley asked his lawyer if that could have been altered but Voight told him it was the real deal and they are done, so is Huntley while taking out cuffs and telling him to turn around. Huntley was hesitant and his lawyer told him to comply, but Voight told him its fine that he doesn't want to turn around, as it would give Voight an excuse to slam his face into the ground and cuff him in aggressive manner, something he has longed to do for a while. After weighing his options, he complies and is promptly cuffed while being escorted, his lawyer tells him that he will see him in arraignment and orders him to keep quiet.

Having his full confession on tape of the rape and murder, Huntley is finally exposed for his crimes to his family and the city, ruining his reputation. Sarah also testified against him in court, getting both herself and Trent proper justice for their suffering at his hands. Huntley is then imprisoned for child molestation and murder.
