Calvin Lucien is a major character in the SCP Foundation series, serving as the main protagonist in the tale "The Way It Ends" and a major character in "Project PARAGON".
Starting off as a member of the Chaos Insurgency who famously killed the members of the O5 Council, he would later become a member of the Council itself, becoming 05-1. He would continue as O5-1 appear in the series, playing a major role in the story.
Biography[]
Childhood[]
As a child, Calvin was a victim of his alcoholic father's abuse along with his mother, which would later on force to escape and moving to the countryside and living with his aunt. As a pastime, Calvin would walk through the fields and the woods with his mother, until his mother interacted with SCP-2316 (a lake that contains bodies that take the image of loved ones that causes the unfortunate to drown in the lake), that made her one of its victims. Calvin tried to save his mother, but to no avail. Calvin explained to other people this event, but, no one believed him. Later on, his aunt sent him to a boarding school.
Meeting Sophia Light[]
Finished school, he returned to the lake where is mother died. There, he met Sophia Light who told him that she is a member of the Chaos Insurgency. Calvin mistakes Sophia for a member of the SCP Foundation or of the Global Occult Coalition and tried to shoot her, but fails since the bullet passes through her body injuring no one. Sophia Light calmed Calvin by telling him that she had something to give to him. So, the couple went to a cliff nearby where they found a door with the SCP Foundation's symbol on it. Sophia opened the door to Calvin revealing to him a room which contained various cabinets filled with aged documents covered in dust. Sophia Light guides Calvin to a door at the end of the room and told him that behind it there is a weapon that could destroy the SCP Foundation as a whole. Calvin entered into the room and de-aged, returning as a kid, reliving the moment of his mother's death. Upon sighting her, he tried to save her, but noticed that Sophia Light stood behind him holding a metallic cylindrical canister, which contained the Spear of the Non-Believer (Adam el Asem's spear). Calvin took this chance and decided to let his mother die again only to take the Spear of the Non-Belivier from Sophia Light. After taking the Spear, Calvin returned to the present, now having the Spear in his hands and realized that reality had changed, now having become an agent of the Insurgency. Sophia Light came to him and gave him two vials containing SCP-006, the Fountain of Youth, before disappearing.
Working for the Chaos Insurgency[]
Now, Calvin used this opportunity to take revenge on the SCP Foundation, whom he blamed for his mother's death. So, he put the canister that contains the Spear of the Non-Believer inside the Wanderer's Library for protecting it from any dangers. Then, he worked as a member of the Insurgency along with Anthony Wright by doing various missions with him such like fighting the Global Occult Coalition and saving Adam Ivanov and Olivia Torres by the Foundation and enlisting them in the Insurgency. Adam was a D-Class assigned to SCP-610, and Olivia is an anartist.
Hunting Down the O5 Council[]
One day, he attacks Skitter Marshall, one of the members of Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd., and takes a journal from him. The journal, presumably titled "The Swallowed Tail", was written by ex-GOC agent turned Foundation researcher Dr. Clef that was signed "Ukulele" that contains very important information about the O5 Council. He then meets the Delta Command in Somali to propose them the choice of destroying the SCP Foundation. Delta Command, first a little doubtful about the mission, accepts the proposal. So, Calvin Lucien makes a squad composed by Olivia Torres, Adam Ivanov and Anthony Wright. Then, they go through ocean during a storm to go to an ancient anti-memetic tower containing the body of Dr. Felix Carter which he became inhabited by Death. Using mnestics, a drug used to perceive memetic anomalies, were able find the tower and after their ship crashed on the island where the tower was. Calvin entered to confront O5-13. Inside, Calvin found the body of Dr. Carter inside a coffin and Death through him explained that the reason why the Council made a deal with, it's because the Council had fully dried out the whole Fountain. Calvin then proceeded to revive Dr. Carter by pouring the Fountain's liquid into his mouth before properly killing him and after throwing his body into the pit below the tower. After, he confronted the feminine side of Death who explained to Calvin that the deal is broken and warned him that some immortal force was behind them.
Now, Calvin and his crew murdered the whole Council by starting off with O5-12 aka the Accountant, who was able to predict the future thanks to his incredible intelligence. So, they travelled to Tokyo and murdered the Overseer by making random decisions based on a coin flip, which O5012 was unable to predict the outcome of.
Afterwards, Calvin and Adam hunted down O5-10 aka the Archivist by searching some information about her, while Olivia confronted O5-11 aka the Liar, who would later on let her alive by killing himself after learning he was a Chaos Insurgent brainwashed by the Foundation.
Calvin and Adam began wondering through a forest, until they found a Way which led them to a secret room within the Wanderer's Library which had been used by the Foundation to maintain records. Then, they encountered one of the Librarians who told them about the Archivist and how she left the Library after breaking her deal with the Serpent and led them to the place where they could find her. Then, Calvin asked to be given back his metal canister, the container for the Spear of the Non-Believer, in hopes of using it as a way to kill the Archivist. Then, the couple enter the chamber and found the Archivist reading one of the three important books. Calvin immediately tried to shoot her, but the bullet simply passed through her. The Archivist explained to them that she achieved an alternate form of immortality after having read every book contained within the Library and she self-proclaimed herself as the Serpent. Then, she transformed herself into a massive snake before attacking Calvin and Adam. Calvin was unable to kill her with his gun, so Adam opened the canister which revealed the Spear of the Non-Believer while the canister itself transformed into a mechanical harpoon gun. Calvin told Adam to load the Spear on the harpoon and launch it like at the Archivist. She crushed Calvin before letting him fall the void beneath the Library, but at that moment Adam fired the Spear which struck the Archivist, killing her and resetting the world around them. Both of them awoke to find the Serpent in its humanoid form inspecting the spear which had impaled the human form of the Archivist and telling them along with its brother the truth about the Spear of the Non-Believer. The spear was a weapon that could kills gods. In a sudden flash of light, and they are back in the forest,
Afterwards, the Calvin and Anthony went to find O5-9 aka The Outsider, a former geologist who was forced to join the O5 Council after her work was discredited by the O5 Council itself. They found her in the burned ruins of her family home where she told them her forced join into the O5 Council and how she used to believe that what she was doing was made in the name of a superior good, but now she disillusioned herself and accepted the reality that any life could be wasted. She then revealed that she cut her wrists and was leaving herself to bleed to death. Calvin asked her why she did this, to which she responded that it didn’t matter and makes a counter-question asking him if he feared death. Calvin responded that he didn’t but before she died she was able to see that he was actually lying.
The team then went to the ruins of a castle which was the residence of O5-8 aka The Lesser who had technologically modified his body and soul and previously acted as one of the Foundation's financers, and was also the de-facto leader of the Overseers. The squad explored the castle's ruins, until they found the body of O5-8 and his guards, understanding that his body couldn't handle anymore the modifications after he lost his immortality.
Feeling satisfied of his death, they made a camp near the ruins and decided that they would leave it the morning. During the night, Calvin, Adam and Olivia talked about their lives, until Anthony interrupted them by showing them some books from the Lesser's library and telling them that they need to continue searching information about the O5 Council. However, when Adam began asking about Anthony's age, Anthony scolds him, leaving Calvin tells to Adam that Anthony was very old and had the glory of carrying The Engineer's legacy. However, Anthony revealed that there was no Engineer and that it was fictional, made only for the purpose to give Insurgents someone to give loyalty and keep the Insurgency together, while the Insurgency's true founder had actually betrayed the Insurgency by rejoining the SCP Foundation. Anthony then admits that he personally met the Insurgency's founder and had seen the Insurgency's foundation. Then, he reveals that he also prolonged his life through SCP-006 and that he would disappear for a lot of time to throw people off his trail only to come back under a new name. This angered a lot Calvin, accusing Anthony to be a traitor and that he was just like the O5 Council. In turn, Anthony responded that the Engineer was the real bad guy of the situation. Furtherly, Anthony explains that the Delta Command was originally designed to not be so present in the Insurgency's affair and that they they would take less action in order to evade destruction. Then, Calvin asked him why he didn't reveal the truth to them before to which Anthony responds that if he did, the Insurgents would lose faith or wouldn't believe him. Then, Olivia asks to Anthony why he told them the truth, and Anthony in turn responds that since there was high chance of dying in the mission, they had the right to know the truth before they could possibly die. After Adam and Olivia went to sleep, Calvin continued to talk with Anthony who knew that Calvin had an extra vial of SCP-006, the Fountain of Youth, and when he asked him what he was going to do with it, Calvin said that he would destroy it. Then, Anthony reveals to Calvin that the Insurgency stole some vials of SCP-006's water to use it to prolong their lives, but this made them and their lives shallow. Then, Anthony asked Calvin why the Outsider thought that he feared death to which Calvin respond that in fact he wasn't but he was afraid of losing his friend and in turn Anthony replies that there's nothing wrong with that and that the Insurgency accepts death as natural thing in life.
After the night passes, the crew have gone through a forest in Southeast Asia, passing the Cambodian borders, to go into a city near a river in which political turmoil was occurring, avoiding mobs and local militia, all in the chance of finding O5-7 aka Green. Finally arrived at the town, the crew split up with Anthony going to find O5-7 while Calvin would go into a bar to talk with Vanderveer, a fellow Insurgent. Calvin spoke with Vanderveer who told them that they should move quickly in order to hide in the hordes of looters who started rioting, because the Kervier Mining Corporation had poisoned the town's river. Afterwards, Calvin and the rest of the crew walked for a little bit in the city, until they were captured by some looters and MTF Epsilon-11 came to capture them and brought them to O5-7 in the Governor's Manor where she introduces herself to the Insurgents and praises Calvin for his efforts. She later offers Calvin to kill her in exchange for the life of either Olivia or Adam and if he refuses to do so, she would kill the local revolutionary leader and create a civil war. Calvin tries to offer himself, but O5-7 refuses and sends the captain of the MTF to kill the leader of the looters, sparking a riot. Then, she tries to kill Adam, but just at the moment she was about to shoot him, Anthony shoot her hand with his sniper, which made her flee to the rooftop, meanwhile the crew was able to free itself. The rioters tried to attack the crew, but Adam killed them with the Spear of the Non-Belivier. Then, they moved to the rooftop where they joined with Anthony and together tried to chase O5-7, but she was able to fllee from them with her helicopter. Calvin and Anthony tried to shoot the helicopter, until a rocket launched by the rioters hit the helicopter and blew it up, making it crash to the ground. The four Insurgents escaped from the Manor and moved to a side street, but the dying O5-7 shot Anthony in his neck and heart few moments before passing away. Calvin tried to save Anthony by using the SCP-006's water, but Anthony stopped him from saving him and revealed to them that his true name was Vincent Arians and that he was a member of the original O5 Council who had been betrayed by O5-1. After Anthony dies, Olivia used her anartistry powers to transform Anthony's body into a cloud of crystal butterflies. Afterwards, the crew used a vehicle given to them by a fellow Insurgent to get out of the city.
Afterwards, the surviving members of the crew met with fellow Insurgent Kowalski in an inn within a small town. There, he explained to them that O5-6 aka The American sent American troops to search them and recommended them to retreat. Calvin refused to do so and still wanted to pursue his mission, in turn Kowalski responded that the troops were using an anomaly contained in Site-19, so Kowalski suggested to trick O5-6 into doing something stupid. After staying on a ridge nearby during the night, they were spotted by a drone that allarmed the troops of their presence. The crew tried to flee with their jeep, but were easily caught by the helicopters and Humvees of O5-6. Then, the American himself approached the crew, introducing himself and explaining his motives for joining the Council. He offered them the possibility to escape, but on condition that they would give him the Spear, whom he wanted to use it as a way to improve the USA. Calvin refused to do so and the O5-6 let them go before sending the anomaly and his troops to chase them. The crew drove as far away as possible. During the run, Adam asked Calvin why he didn't gave the Spear to O5-6 and in turn Calvin answered telling him the motive behind his actions. Adam understood Calvin's motive for his not wanting to surrender the Spear and together formed a plan to trick O5-6 into a trap. So, together they drove to Adam's native village, in southwest China. At the village, they found only a single inhabitant, Father Bramimond, and Adam explained to the crew that the village was abandoned after the villagers were plagued by SCP-610. However, O5-6 found them and came after them riding SCP-682 while leading his army. As O5-6 was about to use SCP-682 to kill Calvin, Father Bramimond transformed into an instance of SCP-610 along other villagers who had been plagued by the anomalous virus, attacking the army of O5-6, the 7th Infantry, and SCP-682. The trio fled while O5-6 was attacked, but the Overseer threatened them again. Olivia shot him, injuring him and leaving him to die by being eaten by the flesh creatures.
While fleeing, the trio discussed about O5-5 aka The Blackbird, until they were approached by the Overseer himself. After introducing himself, he told them that he had merged with versions of himself from other universes and that he couldn't be killed, because there would be always a version of him to replace him anyway. Then, the Blackbird decided to try to change their minds by giving to each of them their ideal world. Adam and Olivia entered their respective ideal worlds first, and after they did so, the Blackbird accompanied Calvin to the lake where his mother died and offered him a chance to save her. But as Calvin's mother entered in the lake, the little Calvin turned back to adult Calvin and O5-5, causing both of the two to also do it, until they saw Sophia Light holding the canister. The Blackbird became enraged by this while Calvin went to take the canister again, but this time the canister contained Adam Bright's glasses. While the Blackbird was shouting that he just wanted to make him happy and that his fanaticism ruined everything, Calvin used the glasses to see the Overseer's true form: a bird-like monstrosity containing the souls of the Overseer's souls. The Blackbird tried to leave him stranded in this universe, but thanks to Sophia Light, Calvin was able to produce "Dr. Wondertainment's Interdimensional Line and Lure", a fishing rod, and "bird-b-gone by dado", a whiffle-ball bat, which he used to grab O5-5 before the Blackbird travelled through various universes. They both visited many universes such as SCP-455, a version of Site-19 where Dr. Kondraki was riding SCP-682 in SCP-2935, and in this universe Calvin took the opportunity to hit the Overseer every time they temporarily stopped, gradually weakening him. After going through many universes, they were both snatched up by a Black Queen, who brought both of them to SCP-001 (Atonement aka 001-DJK2)'s containment chamber. After revealing herself as Alison Chao, the Black Queen told Blackbird that what they were doing was wrong and that she just wanted to be normal again, but O5-5 admonished both her and Calvin for refusing his help and claimed himself as "unstoppable". Meanwhile, The Black Queen released SCP-001 who because of its need of vengeance against the O5 Council proceeded to annihilate the Blackbird before being put back into its chamber. Afterwards, the Black Queen explained to Calvin the nature of SCP-001 and brought back Calvin, Adam and Olivia back to their original universe. After returning to their universe, Delta Command member Sylvester Sloan arrived to take them aboard their plane. Calvin was left injured by the fight with the Overseer while both Adam and Olivia were left shaken and disturbed after being taken away from their dream world.
On the plane, Calvin and Sloan were discussing about their next target O5-4 aka The Ambassador, until they learned from Insurgent Priscilla Norris that the Ambassador wanted to meet the Insurgency to surrender and give important information. Both Calvin and Sylvester took the offer and met the Ambassador in the Johannesburg airport, while planning to send Adam and Olivia to Delta's safehouse where they could recover. Later, Calvin and Sloan arrived at the airport where the Ambassador and Priscilla awaited them in a conference room. Inside the room, O5-4 explained that the Foundation's high command was in shambles and wanted to get out while he still could, so he offered some information which the Insurgency could use to end the O5 Council, while he would stay secure, affair that the Insurgents accepted. However, the airport was attacked by MTF Tau-5, which caused the four of them to flee and the Insurgency to fight the attackers. Despite their efforts to escape, the MTF caught them, killing both Priscilla and Sloan before being ordered by a child's voice coming from the airport's speakers for Irantu to kill the Ambassador and take Calvin. O5-4 is brutally murdered by Irantu, he then began approaching Calvin while he was watching Sylvester Sloan's plane, which contained both Adam and Olivia, being destroyed by Munru's minigun. Afflicted by the death of his friends, although Adam and Olivia fortunately survived. Eventually, he was knocked out by Irantu and was brought along with the other three Insurgents to O5-3 aka The Kid's residence.
After getting knocked out, Calvin woke up inside an unknown facility where the Kid explained to Calvin through monitors its origin and told him that he and everyone else were unfit to judge others except for it. Then, Calvin walked through a Deepwell chamber beneath a shaft in which the Kid revealed to him that it had also captured Adam and Olivia and wanted to judge them for their crimes and then kill them through Tau-5 kill them. Just in the moment Irantu was going to kill Adam and Olivia, the Black Queen arrived and gave to Calvin back the Interdimensional Line and Lure which he used to summon the Malidramagiuan aka SCP-1730 to kill the MTF. While the MTF was fighting SCP-1730 summoned by Calvin, Calvin freed Adam and Olivia and then went to a strange cylindrical machine on the platform where Olivia used her anartistry powers by inducing SCP-1730 into destroying it before slaughtering the whole Task Force and leaving. But as just they were entering the machinery, a turret appeared from a wall near to them, killing Olivia by shooting her in her head and then shooting Adam at his spine. Calvin used the Spear of the Non-Believer to break the higher part of the machinery showing the Kid’s true form: a malformed fetus connected to the machinery. The Kid laughed while Calvin was breaking the container of the Kid's body and crushed it with his own hands, causing the entire facility to fall apart.
After killing the Kid, Calvin grabbed both Adam and Olivia’s body and brought them out of the facility before it was totally destroyed. Then, Calvin found himself along with his friends on a hill near the entrance of the now destroyed facility. Watching Adam dying, Calvin used a vial of SCP-006's water to heal him. Adam scolded him for saving him with SCP-006's water, but then Adam realized that Calvin was going to kill the last two Overseers of the O5 Council and he became consumed by his feelings and showed to Calvin his great loved for him. Adam begged Calvin to not leave him, but Calvin ignored him and continued walking to find the last two Overseers while carrying Olivia's corpse. Meanwhile, Adam was rescued by the Insurgency.
While Calvin was reading the last entries of his journal that he used to hunt down the O5 Council, he put Olivia's dead body inside a cave. Then, he finally came to Site-01 where he planned to use the Spear of the Non-Believer to kill the last two Overseers: O5-2 aka The Nazarene and O5-1 aka The Founder. Afterwards, Calvin entered the site and saw drawings of SCP-1000, SCP-2000, SCP-3000, SCP-4000, SCP-5000 and SCP-6000. Then, Calvin arrived at the elevator at the center of the room, until he met a man in a tactical suit named Purpose who guarded the inner sanctum. Calvin recognized Purpose, discovering that he was Troy Lament, an agent of the SCP Foundation whom Calvin fought in missions years ago. Purpose told to Calvin that O5-1 returned to the site and left him enter the inner sanctum. After Calvin ordered to Purpose that he mustn't let anyone else enter the site, he went through the doorway at the end of the chamber and entered the sanctum, finding a big conference room with walls covered with multiple screens displaying various location under the custody of the SCP Foundation and impossibly made videos of Calvin's journey. Some of these monitors even had videos of Calvin's life when he was a kid, a teenager, and his adult life. Inside the room, Calvin met O5-1 aka The Founder, Aaron Siegel. Aaron laughed at Calvin and said that both of them were very similar, and that Calvin's convictions would destroy everything or would break him.
Calvin prepared to fight Aaron drawing the Spear of the Non-Believer and even the Aaron drew his weapon: Lucifer's sword, which Aaron took from the Garden behind the Gate Guardian. In particular, the corpse of the angel Lucifer, the Morning Star. Then, the two began fighting with both of them dodging each other's attacks, while the room was breaking down, because of the fight. Aaron got tired of the fight and was impressed by Calvin, telling him that he envied him and that he had made a mistake when he was trying to destroy the SCP Foundation, but Calvin mocked him, saying that Siegel was a traitor to the Insurgency and that he held the nickname of "the Engineer" and Aaron in turn responded that Vincent Arians/Anthony Wright was always the Engineer. Aaron tried to tell Calvin that he didn't betray the Insurgency by his will, and he had joined the SCP Foundation to avoid something terrible to happen and had to kill Calvin to keep that something from happening. While Aaron was delivering the final attack to kill Calvin, but Calvin quickly threw the Spear of the Non-Believer at Aaron, nailing Aaron Siegel to the wall and shattering Lucifer's sword. While Aaron was dying, he told to Calvin that he had accomplished nothing and that the anomalous danger threatening the world wasn't the O5 Council nor the deceased Administrator Frederick Williams, but something even more dangerous than that.
It was the Foundation, Aaron had said, it was always the Foundation.
Aaron Siegel dies, Calvin returned to the main room where Purpose led him to the elevator which would send him to the room in which Calvin could destroy the Foundation for good, but warned him that access to the elevator came with a cost. Calvin ignored Purpose's warning and took the elevator the same and descended at the bottom of the site where he entered Aaron's office room. He sat on Aaron's desk and he was just to detonate the on-site nuclear device system through a terminal, but a phone beside him began ringing. Calvin reluctantly answered the phone and The Administrator itself responded, something that shocked Calvin as he believed that Aaron had killed Frederick William with the use of the Children aka SCP-001 (djkaktus' proposal or 001-DJK). The Administrator corrected Calvin, explaining to him that Frederick was an administrator of the SCP Foundation, and it itself was a consciousness created when part of William's consciousness conjoined with the fabric of reality and the nature of the SCP Foundation, becoming the living embodiment of the mission of the SCP Foundation itself. The Administrator continued to explain that the real reason why Aaron Siegel had betrayed the Insurgency was because Aaron, joining the Foundation, acted as a barrier protecting the world from the anomalous and told Calvin it was now Calvin's time to become the next O5-1. Calvin said that he could leave right now or active the on-site nuclear system, but The Administrator responded that Calvin wouldn’t do it, since it would lead to the deaths of millions or billions of people and wouldn't stop the Administrator from affecting the world.
Calvin tries to justify his actions, saying that the O5 Council was evil, but the Administrator admonishes him for that, revealing that, in reality, it was just made up of simply flawed people who were just trying to protect the world from the Administrator. Afterwards, the Administrator welcomes him to the new position as head of the Foundation and hangs up before Calvin saw a memory of Aaron Siegel, in which Aaron was just in the same situation of Calvin and was confronted by a distraught Vincent Arians/Anthony Wright with a gun telling him to put the phone down, as Aaron had just received the same news Calvin had. At the end of the memory, when Aaron told Vince that he can't put the phone down, Arians fired the gun at the ceiling. He curses Sophia and Aaron before leaving and returning to the Insurgency. Then, the memory faded, the phone started ringing again.
Calvin answered it after seven rings. Calvin became the new O5-1, going under the title of "The Usurper."
Working for the SCP Foundation[]
After betraying the Insurgency and becoming the new O5-1, Calvin made another deal with Death to bring Olivia back to life and turn her into O5-2. However, Olivia, unlike Dr. Felix Carter, returned as zombie-like creature, since she wasn't any more of this world. As O5-1, Calvin arrived at Site-108 in Houston where he met the new Site Director House, apologizing for being late, and asked information about the arrival of O5-2. Afterwards, he enters the room for the site's conference, until he sees that is damaged. He is informed that the damage was made by the Reborn Insurgency led by Adam Ivanov, Calvin's ex-companion. The new form of the Insurgency had released a video on The Knights of Truth's secret website in which Adam, the new leader of the Insurgency, threatened the SCP Foundation and Calvin that they would end them and restart the world again before expressing his hatred and resentment for Calvin. Afterwards, Calvin met with some personnel he had selected to replace the former members of the O5 Council and assigned each of them departments they would oversee. At night, Calvin began writing a new SCP-001 file called "The Way It Ends" and classifies it as "Principalis", an old GOC classification, made for The Administrator itself and intended it also to be a message for the next person who would kill and replace him like his predecessors.
He would later become involved with Project PARAGON, studying various other anomalies like the Great Profanities and the Flying City of Audapupadopolis. Following this, he interviewed Seth, SCP-4840-A, proposing him to reunite with his brother to meet his father, proposal that Seth accepted.
During the period in which the SCP Foundation was studying SCP-6666 and SCP-6666-A, Calvin, O5-3, O5-12 and their liaison Quinton Paige held a meeting held with the Project PARAGONS's leadership, composed by directors Shannon Lancaster and Coryn Malthus. During the meeting, they talked over the past of the anomalies recently discovered and the approach towards their containment. Then, they discussed the exploratory mission made by Mobile Task Force Hēt-1 into the forest below SCP-6666 and the discovery of the presence of SCP-1000 in the SCP-6666, who were kept asleep hibernate thanks to SCP-6666-A. Calvin went to do his own research on the SCP-1000 file and noticed that the behavior talked in the file didn't match up with the behavior witnessed by the MTF, discovering that an unknown individual who had gone under the name of Dir. Tilda D. Moose, who wasn't even born at the time of the file's creation, had created the file to portray SCP-1000 as more harmless. Calvin noticed this and reported it to one of his fellow Overseers, also telling him the discovery that SCP-1000 was a creation of SCP-6666 aka Goddess Titania. Then, Calvin planned a visit with an instance of SCP-1000 (Javert aka SCP-3790-C) held in the seventh floor of SCP-3790.
While the Foundation was doing research about on SCP-6765, discovering that the final knight Demon Ogier resided in it, Calvin gave to Lancaster the responsibility to increase the security in the containment of all antediluvian anomalies, because some agents of the GoI were searching these anomalies. After Ogier battled the Scarlet King's undead corpse, dedicating his life in keeping the Scarlet King trapped forever, Calvin interviewed Lancaster on what had transpired and congratulated her and team on their job. He proceeded to inform her that during the event that occurred in SCP-6765 made SCP-3790 react for the first time since its discovery, giving to Lancaster the task to investigate SCP-3790.
On the 23rd July 2022, the SCP Foundation discovered that the universe started experiencing entropy because of the low Hume level. So, Calvin attended a meeting with the rest of the O5 Council inside Site-102. He talked over the issue with his fellow Overseers and told them that the Department of Science found a possible way to stop the entropy by building a machine that would give the same Hume level to other universes while giving additional ones to theirs, saving their universe, but causing the end of others. However, the only way to achieve these was to neutralize anomalies who possessed low Hume levels to take it from them, so that they could have more time to build the machine. O5-3, however, was against this choice, saying that it was "cruel" and should wait to see if there were better alternatives. The vast majority of the Council were in favor to the destruction of anomalies. This would ultimately cause the Chaos Insurgency to put some bombs in New Canberra, a place near to O5-8's apartment and threaten her that if she didn't change her vote and the point of view of the other Council's members, there would have been more attacks.
Appearance[]
Calvin was a normal Caucasian man possessing a mustache and having no abnormal appearance.
Personality[]
As a kid Calvin loved his mother dearly and enjoyed passing time with her walking through nature and was left devastated when his mother died from SCP-2316 and no one would believe. This led to him discovering the existence of the SCP Foundation and blaming them for taking his mother away from him and his hatred towards fueled when he learned that they were responsible for the increase of the anomalies around the world and became hellbent in destroying them for good and save the world.
Upon being offered a chance to find a way to help in the destruction of the Foundation, but at the cost of forever losing his mother, Calvin took it, sacrificing his chance to have his mother back to become a high ranking member of the Chaos Insurgency. During his time with the Insurgency he formed friendships with fellow Insurgents Anthony Wright, Adam Ivanov and Olivia Torres and deeply cared about all of them as he greatly feared of losing them.
Upon being told that the O5 Council had been exploiting their contained anomalies for their own benefits and letting the world to suffer at the rise of anomalous activity, Calvin and his friends became determined to kill each member of the Council to destroy their influence and let the world heal and return to its natural state. He went after each Overseer and killed them with no reluctance, while making sure that no one on his team was injured during their confrontation.
During the end of his mission, after the remaining Overseer were able to kill Anthony, Olivia and injure Adam, Calvin became enraged and directly confronted the last Overseer, Aaron Siegel, whom he hated the most due to him betraying the Insurgency and all of his friends for apparently no reason other selfishness. However, after learning that the Council in actuality acted as a barrier separating the world from the real threat and source of anomalous activity that was The Administrator, Calvin was devastated that because of his actions he nearly allowed The Administrator to cause damage to the world and after understanding why Siegel had betrayed the Insurgency in order to keep the world in balance Calvin just like him betrayed the Insurgency and became the new O5-1 in order to keep reality safe from The Administrator. Against his wish, Calvin as the new O5-1 he became the leader of the Foundation and was determined to use his new position to make the world much better place while his former friends at the Insurgency feeling betrayed by him began hunting him down.
Powers and Abilities[]
Calvin was a normal human who possessed some training as was usual for Chaos Insurgents, being skilled in the usage of weaponry such as various forms of firearms and explosives, and was an expert driver.
With the legendary Spear of the Non-Believer, an ancient powerful weapon previously wielded by Adam el Asem and the Sky Kings of the House of Apollyon, Calvin was able to kill and destroy anything in his path such as O5-10 who had assumed the form of the Serpent, multiple humans with one single swipe and the Lucifer's flaming sword. Additionally with dado's "bird-b-gone" Calvin could immediately kill any avian creature such O5-5 and with Dr. Wondertainment's "Interdimensional Line and Lure" he could partially travel through the multiverse and different dimensions.
After making another deal with the personification of Death, Calvin and his fellow Overseers were granted immortality and nothing was capable of killing and would never age as long as the contract was not broken.

Trivia[]
- The image depicting Calvin Lucien is actually a photo of a friend of djkaktus himself, which was taken by djkaktus' girlfriend.
- Originally, Calvin was in SCP-3930's file before his name was removed.
- It is thought that Calvin hunted down the O5 Council during 2020-2021, after the events of Project PARAGON, since it is mentioned that the SCP Foundation already found demon Ogier prior to Calvin's killing spree.
- Calvin Lucien wrote a message to an unnamed character that will eventually kill him in the future, since the cycle of destruction-recreation of the O5 Council is never-ending, hence it's why the whole series is called "Ouroboros Cycle", referencing to the snake eating its tale, symbol of eternity, eternal return and totality of the world.
