~ De Millemont complaining if captured alive. |
Camille de Millemont is a minor antagonist in Red Dead Redemption 2. He is a French member of the Lemoyne Raiders Neo-Confederate militia.
He was voiced by an unknown actor.
Biography[]
At some point, de Millemont immigrated from France to the United States. He supported the Confederates during the civil war, afterwards going on to join Lindsey Wofford's Lemoyne Raiders, a deeply racist, anti-government militia that carries out robberies and murders against Northerners, government employees and Southern citizens alike. He became a feared figure in the town of Rhodes, where he has a $55 bounty on his head for theft of state property, crimes against officers of the state and the murder of a postal carrier.
The player (Arthur Morgan/John Marston) can accept the bounty and hunt down de Millemont, who is camped out with several other Raiders at Catfish Jacksons. The player comes upon de Millemont and his fellow Raiders returning to camp and engages in a shootout with them. The player successfully kills all the Raiders and has the option of killing de Millemont and bringing his corpse back to Rhodes or hogtying him and bringing him in alive. A group of three Raiders will ambush the player on the way back.
If de Millemont is killed, Sheriff Harmon Thomas orders the player to dump his body behind the sheriff's office. If he is brought in alive, he is placed in a holding cell and goes on a rant about the Lemoyne Raiders being the heart of American society, calling the player and Sheriff Thomas traitors.
