Candy Apple Cookie is a minor antagonist in Cookie Run: Kingdom. A servant of Shadow Milk Cookie, she claims she was born when Shadow Milk Cookie took a bite of the Apple of Deceit, and thus is fiercely loyal to him.
She is voiced by Lee I-ro in Korean, Nanami Yamashita in Japanese (who also voiced Kazuradrop in Fate:Extra CCC Foxtail), Lin Peiling in Taiwanese, Patamaporn Jarupathirun in Thai, and Kimoy Lee in English.
Biography[]
Introducing herself to the heroes pretending to be Apple Faerie Cookie, she claims to want to join them to see the Spire of All Knowledge as she's been there before, and wishes to repay them for saving the Faerie Kingdom. Building up trust by warning GingerBrave about an incoming attack and leading them to an inn, she says she'll go out and see what awaits down the road while they rest up. When a monster who disguised as a crumbling Cookie attacks Pure Vanilla, she easily dispatches it and remarks on how weak it was, before returning to her facade and asking about Pure Vanilla's current health. Soon leading them to the Spire of All Knowledge, suggesting they go to the very top of the Spire. After a brief argument with Pure Vanilla Cookie, the other Cookies regain their senses, prompting Candy Apple to laugh wickedly, proclaiming how easy they were to manipulate and asking if they've never been told not to trust strangers. She then reveals her true self, revealing they are truly in the Spire of Deceit, Shadow Milk Cookie's domain. She's been acting under Shadow Milk's orders to lure them to his home, continuing to mock them as she reveals such. She quickly disappears, and the Spire begins to shake as it changes to its true appearance.
Soon appearing during Pure Vanilla's trials, she grows bored with Shadow Milk's preoccupation with those "good-for-nothings", and complains about how wide he's smiling and how he never smiles at her like that. Aiding during the tarot card trial, she chases away a card and takes its place to change Shadow Milk's prophecy to a more favorable one. Following Black Sapphire after he's sent away to keep the cards safe by Shadow Milk to ask what he's to do, to which he points out the obviousness of it. She soon suggests letting the Cookies go due to how weird Shadow Milk is acting around them, as it makes her jealous. That way, Shadow Milk's anger will be directed onto Pure Vanilla. Black Sapphire tells her not to, though, only for her to try to steal the cards from him. She rips the bag open and turns the Cookies back to normal to allow them to escape, and gets in the way of Black Sapphire trying to stop them. Soon giving up after finding him much tougher than expected, Shadow Milk suddenly appears, turns her into a tarot card again, and threatens to tear her to shreds for what she did. Later encouraging Shadow Milk to punish GingerBrave, Strawberry, and Wizard, and she soon delights after their supposed ends as Shadow Milk's other-realm spreads. She soon joins Black Sapphire in distress as Shadow Milk realizes he can no longer control it and Pure Vanilla played him for a fool. The two help Shadow Milk escape after he's beaten, leaving through a portal.
