Cane Tejada is the main antagonist of the Power spin-off series Power Book II: Ghost, serving as the arch-nemesis of Tariq St. Patrick. He is gangster who is a member of the Tejada family.
He is portrayed by Woody McClain.
Biography[]
Cane Tejada is first seen when Tariq walk in the Bathroom with Cane getting oral sex by a girl. He was later seen when he had a fight with his cousin Rel, but the fight was later broken up by Monet, and Rel left. Rel came back with a gun trying to confront Cane and it backfires as Cane confront Rel with a shotgun. Cane confronted Rel again and shot him three times. Cane came inside the Monet's car, and clean up the blood by the side of Cane's ear.
He was again seen when Tariq is having dinner with Zeke and his family. The dinner was interrupted when Uncle Frank came to Monet's house without Monet and her family being aware of him showing up. Monet told Cane to drop Tariq off to his college. Cane confronts Tariq not to tell anyone by the family's situation. Tariq told Cane that his uncle is a snitch and Tariq is helping Zeke with his schoolwork. Monet knew that Uncle Frank is a snitch so she told Cane to kill Uncle Frank. Cane came to the bar with Uncle Frank is at, knocked him out and kidnap him. He then killed Uncle Frank while he was unconscious and mutilated him.
Cane and Dru when to pick up money. After the money pick-up, they went home and sees that GTG is not being careful as they were on instagram live celebrating. Cane was told by Monet to watch over his brother Dru as he went to talk to GTG about keeping a low-profile. Cane then confront Lil Guap and GTG and shoots up his place. After that, Cane and Dru were being chased by the police. When they came back home, Monet confronted Cane and Dru about shooting Lil Guap's place up. Cane and Monet went to confront GTG due to GTG getting police involved. Cane beats Lil Guap up. Cane went to Stanford college to look for Tariq, but encountered Brayden and Trace. Brayden knew about Cane because Tariq told him and because of that, Cane forced Brayden and Trace to sell drugs for him. Cane went to pick Brayden and Trace up after they were done selling drugs. While Cane was driving, he, Brayden, and Trace got pulled over by the police. Officer Ramirez tells Cane that he should be careful. Cane went to his house and Monet confronts Cane about showing up on Tariq's school, and taking Brayden and Trace to sell drugs for him. Cane confronts Monet about trusting Tariq. Cane hit Monet by accident, but Monet was mad at him. Cane went to talk to his father. As soon as he leaves, he gets beat up by the guards ordered by his father due to Cane hitting Monet by accident. Cane then robbed the church with GTG. As a result he got arrested by the police. Officer Ramirez drop Cane off to his house. Cane sent a GTG member Barz to kill Tariq, but the plan failed. Due to Barz being killed, Cane went to hiding to avoid GTG. Cane was informed by Dru that he and his cousin Zeke got beat up by GTG. Cane went to kill two GTG members but let Lil Guap alive just to work him. Cane came back home, but was told by Diana that he got kicked out by Monet due to him putting Zeke's life in danger. Cane and Lil Guap were both cleaning up the bodies of the GTG members. Cane realizes that Monet and her family is in danger, and went to go save them but he is too late. He was disowned by the family due to him not being there with them. Cane went to confront Officer Ramirez and killed him. Monet realizes that Cane killed Officer Ramirez. Cane confronts Tariq and shoots Professor Reynolds thinking Tariq is snitching on him. But Tariq convinces him that they should frame Professor Reynolds for Officer Ramirez's murder. Due to this, he let Tariq take care of Reynolds.
