Capila Doggler is a minor antagonist of Hikari Sentai Maskman, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 4. He was a flower-like Doggler with a centipede-like parasite called Capila (カビラ Kabira), on the service of the Underground Empire Tube and under the command of the Emperor Zeba, Prince Igam and Commander Baraba.
He was voiced by Ken Yamaguchi.
Biography[]
Capila Doggler was summoned by Oyobu and was tasked by the Tube general to start the Medius Tunnel operation. The monster arrived to Tokyo and entered a road tunnel and eventually activated his sonar, capturing Hisashi and his father in a vortex. While observingthis event, Baraba explained the Medius Tunnel: it twisted dimensions to create a neverending loop, trapping those within. The villains planned to turn every tunnel in Japan into a Medius Tunnel, to inspire panic and show Earth what the Underground Empire Tube can do.
Maskman connected Hisashi and eventually found out about the Tube's plan. After several failed attempts of the multi-colored heroes to stop the Medius Tunnel plan, the heroes nearly fell into the Medius Tunnel trap, and fought Baraba, Oyobu and their Ungler Soldiers. However, deciding that they couldn't stop this evil plot without new techniques, the Maskman invented the new Sugata F1 Super Racing Model. Takeru drove the F1, now the Spin Cruiser, into the tunnel. With some trouble, Red Mask destroyed the Medius Tunnel, and this freed Hisashi and his father. When Red Ranger was joined by his teammates, Takeru faced Oyobu, Baraba and Capila Doggler, along with more of the Tube's Ungler Soldiers. However, the villains ultimately proved to be resilient, and the Maskmen retreated to their vehicles, using those to take down the Ungler Soldiers. Using the Shot Bomber, the multi-colored heroes destroyed Capila Doggler, but only for Okelampa to revive him giant-sized. Accordingly, the Maskmen formed the Great Five and took the monster down.
