Captain Boomerang (Arrowverse)

Digger Harkness, known as Captain Boomerang, is a minor antagonist in the TV show Arrow. He was formely a ASIS agent and is a mercenary known for his use of boomerangs. He is played by Nick E. Tarabay.

Biography

Digger was a ASIS agent who specialized in technology and weaponry. However, he later betrayed ASIS and started selling his services to the highest bidders. He was eventually captured by A.R.G.U.S. and they recruited him in the Suicide Squad.

During a mission in Tanzania, the Suicide Squad was outgunned while fighting a warlord. Since the team was expendable, Agent Lyla Michaels has them killed by setting off the explosives implanted in their necks. However, Digger survived as his explosive malfunctioned.

Several years later, Digger returned to get revenge on Lyla. He killed a A.R.G.U.S. agent and stole his identity. He then rigged his house with explosives just as the vigilantes, Oliver Queen and Roy Harper, and some ARGUS agents were investigating the place. He then attacks ARGUS and went after Lyla Michaels. Oliver, John Diggle, and Roy, with the help of the Flash, protected Lyla and Digger escaped after detonating a smoke bomb.

The vigilantes eventually tracked tracked down his boomerang supplier. Digger then gave the cellphone that was used to contact him to a Russian mobster. He then traced the phone to the ArrowCave. While the vigilantes were gone, He went to the place and attacked Lyla, throwing a boomerang at her chest, believing that she was dead

Afterwards, Digger planted five bombs all over the city, planning to destroy it and planned to take the train out of there. He was stopped by the vigilantes as they defused the bombs and he was confronted and overpowered by Oliver. He taunted him for not killing  him stating that his refusal to kill him makes him weak. Oliver retorts that it means he still has some humanity left. He later shot his hand as he tried to kill him again. He is then imprisoned on Lian Yu.
