Captain Jack or just Jack is a minor antagonist in Sonic Prime. He is a racoon who used to be a part of Knuckles the Dread's crew before becoming the new captain of his crew after The Dread sunk there ship while in search for the Devil's Lighthouse and now frequently steals from Dread and his new crew.
He is voiced by Sean McLoughlin (who also voiced Antisepticeye), who is also known on YouTube as "Jacksepticeye".
Biography[]
Past[]
Jack was originally a member of the crew lead by Knuckles the Dread, who sought after The Devil's Lighthouse (the Blue Prism shard) on stormy weather. Jack and the rest of the crew tried to warn Dread that it's too dangerous and to turn the ship back, but Dread didn't listen. This resulted in the ship hitting a boulder and sinking. Afterwards Jack calls out Dread for endangering them and the crew select him for there new captain and leave Dread stranded in the ocean.
Sonic Prime[]
In the episode " It Takes One to No Place" Dread's ship is being attacked by Jack and his crew who shoot cannonballs at there ship. Dread and his crew hide as Jack and his crew set foot on Dread's ship, while Jack orders his crew to steal anything they can find. Sonic suggests to engage in a battle with them, but the crew refuse while Sonic takes matters into his own hands. Jack orders his crew to attack Sonic, but starts fighting back, which causes the rest of Dread's crew to also fight back. Jack and his crew retreat to their ship and run away, although they still managed to steal the crews Sea Dogs
Later in season three, Jack would help the heroes fight Nine and the Grim troopers.
Personality[]
Jack dislikes Dread, due to poor treatment of him and his crew in the past (Although he has no problem constantly stealing from him). He is also shown to be cowardly as he immediately retreats after Sonic and Dread's crew manage to beat him and his crew. Jack is also a hypocrite as he has no problem abandoning his crew for treasure.
