Captain Kaido is a major antagonist in Andor. A Captain in the Imperial Army, it was his job to carry out the Ghorman Massacre, which he did so with not just brutality and cruelty, but with twisted enjoyment.
Personality[]
Kaido was an unrepentant monster of a human being. He was assigned to ensure that the slaughter of the Ghorman people during their peaceful protest was carried out without mercy, and cared not how many innocents, or his own men, were lost in the process, even ordering the execution of said men without a single care in the world. He also had no sense of loyalty or concern for those who even outranked him, as he constantly spoke in a condescending tone towards Dedra Meero and saw her as nothing more than the voice that would give him the order to commence the massacre. He had a profound sense of sadism as well, as he couldn't help but simply smile once the genocide was underway, and then again as the situation worsened and he ordered the brutality to not only continue, but get even worse.
