Captain Lang is a minor antagonist in Season 2 of the 2019 streaming series The Mandalorian. He is a hired gunfighter who is seen working under the likes of Morgan Elsbeth.
He was portrayed by Michael Biehn, who also played Johnny Ringo in Tombstone, Henry Gates in Clockstoppers, Robert Bly in The Art of War and Matthew McRae in Strapped.
History[]
Lang worked in the New Republic era as a mercenary accompanying Imperial warlords such as Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth. Faro became less occupied to taking on bounties and now became used as a hired gunfighter who fought to protect whoever he served.
Lang became less skilled and experienced over time on the planet Corvus and eventually found himself in contact with Mandalorian, Din Djarin. Elsbeth attempted to hire the Mandalorian and after a swift betrayal he ended up being on opposite sides of each other. After a confrontation, Lang attempts to ally the Mandalorian only to take a shot at him in a western styled duel. After a brief standoff, Lang ends up defeated but not deceased by the blaster shot.
Personality[]
Lang was capable to carry out jobs by himself with little involvement from other hunters. He was also able to manipulate people to believing through his cunning smile. Lang liked putting people to justice and used that motivation to establish himself within the Guild and other occupation.
Powers And Abilities[]
As a mercenary, Lang is quite proficient at taking jobs. Implied to come from a military background, Lang knows how to lead the Scout guards and two HK-87 assassin droids. Lang is proficient in using blasters from his BARM-ST12 scattergun (made from a FABARM STF 12 shotgun), a pump-action scatterblaster to a smaller unknown blaster pistol model. He was aware of his limits as he tried to let Djarin's guard down first.
