Captain Redboots is the antagonist of the episode of The Backyardigans, "Pirate Camp". She is played by Tasha.
Biography[]
Captain Austin, the camp counselor for Camp Walkaplanka, accidentally slipped his foot into Redboots' cursed boot. It is said that if anyone puts her boot on, they will be dragged to her island and tickled to be turned into a ghost so Redboots can get her boot back. Austin is dragged to the island, and his campers, Pablo and Uniqua, discover the cave right as he is about to be tickled to death. Pablo distracts her with the Scalawag, a pirate dance, as Uniqua tries to get the boot off of Austin. She succeeds, and Redboots gets her boot back, and returns to a living form and is no longer hostile. She, along with Austin, declare Pablo and Uniqua as real pirates.
