Captain Super is a supporting antagonist in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
He is voiced by Jim Meskimen.
Biography[]
Captain Super was a member of the Crime Syndicate's Made Men and Superwoman's first lieutenant. Superwoman summoned Captain Super, Uncle Super, and Captain Super Junior after Owlman's and Superwoman's joint attack on the Justice League base went awry. Wonder Woman stole Owlman's jet and extracted her allies, but they were unable to turn the tide. The jet managed to escape even after the Supers summoned lightning.
Owlman recruited Superwoman on a new quest to locate the Quantum Trigger on a parallel Earth a short time later. She teleported into the Watchtower with the Supers. Despite his power disadvantage, Aquaman battled Captain Super after being forced to call in reinforcements. Captain Super was knocked out and landed in Hangar Bay. He awoke just in time and accompanied Superwoman back to Earth. Despite formal rules prohibiting Made Men from interrupting a gathering of family heads, she ordered him to take the Trigger immediately to the Crime Syndicate at their Panopticon base on the Moon.
Powers and Abilities[]
Captain Super has superhuman abilities identical to his sister and master, Superwoman. He has incredible strength and is "almost as tough as Superwoman", according to Lex Luthor.
Trivia[]
- Captain Super could be considered an early version of Mazahs, due to both being evil variants of Captain Marvel/Shazam from the Crime Syndicates universe. However, due to his sister, Superwoman, being his universe's version of Mary Batson (as confirmed by Phil Bourassa), he also shares similarities to the Earth-3 William Batson.
