Carlo is the main antagonist of the Key & Peele sketch "Hall of Mirrors". He is a serial killer who attempts and fails to evade a detective by losing him in a Hall of Mirrors. When the detective catches him, he continuously insists that he is still just a reflection in a mirror.
He was played by Jordan Peele.
Appearance[]
Carlo has dark skin with white hair and eyebrows. His hair is reminiscent of a stereotypical mad scientist. He wears a tattered grey work jumpsuit with both buttons and zippers alongside a low white undershirt and brown leather gloves. He has a scar on his upper lip. His age is unclear and could range from roughly 40 to 70. He speaks in a low and strange voice.
Biography[]
At some point, Carlo murdered Mary Deeley, Meg Foster, and Police Detective Mason Jiménez. He also kidnapped a girl whose name is unknown. A second detective started pursuing Carlo, in order to arrest him and find the whereabouts of the kidnapped girl. Carlo led the detective to a Hall of Mirrors, where he tantalized him with many reflections of himself. The detective was initially overwhelmed and confused, but quickly found the real Carlo and placed him under arrest. However, Carlo still insisted that he was not really himself and just the reflection in a mirror, annoying the detective. The detective shot Carlo in the knee to get him to talk. Carlo insisted that he would only give information if the detective claimed he did not know if it was the real Carlo or a reflection in a mirror. The detective reluctantly agreed, and Carlo told him the girl's whereabouts. The detective left Carlo injured on the floor, where he cried out that he had somehow won.
