Carlo Renzi is a minor antagonist in the third season of the HBO Television Series The Sopranos.
He is a friend of Jackie Aprile Jr. and Dino Zerilli who is an associate of the DiMeo Crime Family and is seen alongside his crew trying to become a higher-ranking gangster in the Mafia.
He was portrayed by Louis Crugnali.
Biography[]
Carlo Renzi is a student at Rutgers University who is close friends with Jackie Aprile Jr. and Dino Zerilli as both of them are a part of his fraternity. Carlo is first seen when he informs the problems their associate, Matush Giamona was having with Christopher Moltisanti due to Matush selling drugs to Chris' girlfriend Adriana La Cerva at his nightclub. When Carlo asks Jackie Jr. to stand up for Matush and confront Matush, Jackie tries but is turned down by a much more powerful Chris.
Later, Carlo becomes a part in Jackie's plan to rob Eugene Pontecorvo's card game, with Dino and Matush also being a part of the robbery. The trio enter the building masked with Carlo carrying a shotgun. However, the robbery goes south when Jackie shoots the card dealer dead and Christopher shoots Carlo between the eyes, killing him instantly.
