Carlos F. Fiero is one of the two main antagonists (along with his wife Leona Fiero) of the ABS-CBN Revenge Series Dirty Linen.
he is portrayed by John Arcilla. who also portrayed Renato Hipolito in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
Overview[]
he was a corrupt and power-hungry patriarch of the Fiero family who, alongside his equally ruthless wife Leona, committed several heinous crimes to protect their family's name and fortune. He played a major role in covering up the murders of innocent household workers linked to his family’s secrets, going to extreme lengths to silence anyone who got too close to the truth.
Throughout the series, Carlos used his wealth and influence to manipulate justice, enabling the Fieros to escape accountability time and time again. He ordered cover-ups, facilitated coercion, and turned a blind eye to his family’s growing web of violence. Carlos and Leona both engaged in a series of morally depraved acts—ranging from bribery and gaslighting to orchestrating cold-blooded killings—all to preserve their status and legacy.
Their actions eventually caught up with them when the victims’ families and a team of avengers orchestrated a takedown that led to the ultimate downfall of the Fieros. In a twist of poetic justice during the Season 2 finale, Carlos and Leona went to their family's hidden bunker, which was then sealed off when a piece of a building fell on the hatch when Carlos blew up the said building, trapping the two inside. With no way out and no one left to save them, the couple was left to rot together in isolation, despite Carlos stating that the Fieros never lose and that he and Leona will eventually find a way out. a fitting end for two people who destroyed so many lives.

Carlos Fiero is a cunning, manipulative, and deeply prideful man who will do anything to protect his family's reputation and wealth. On the surface, he often presents himself as calm and composed, especially in public settings, but underneath that façade lies a cold and ruthless individual who doesn't hesitate to use intimidation, deceit, and violence to get what he wants.
He is highly controlling, especially toward those within his own family, believing that his authority should never be questioned. Carlos often acts with a sense of entitlement and superiority, seeing himself as untouchable due to his social standing. He rarely shows genuine remorse for his actions and is quick to justify his wrongdoings if it means maintaining power.
Despite being calculated, his arrogance and overconfidence gradually lead to his downfall, as he underestimates those he wronged. His lack of empathy, moral flexibility, and willingness to destroy lives for the sake of legacy make him a truly menacing and dangerous figure.
