Carlos Litvack is a major antagonist in season seven of Orange is the New Black.
He oversees the detention officers at Litchfield Penitentiary's ICE immigration centre.
He was portrayed by Adam Lindo, who also portrayed Carlos Zapataro in Chicago P.D..

Litvack shows an uncaring and cold attitude towards migrants, despite himself being descendant of non-US citizens, perhaps suggesting an element of self-hatred and bigotry. He has abusive tendencies towards the detainees, and evidently feels comfortable flouting legislation on how migrants should be treated and what rights they are entitled to in the centres.
Physical appearance[]
Litvack often wears his sunglasses on the back of his head and is seen chewing gum. He has tanned skin and black, curly hair. He is only seen wearing his uniform.
Biography[]
Background[]
Little is known about Litvack's background, other than that at some point he was appointed as a senior member of staff by ICE and PolyCon.
Orange is the New Black[]
Litvack is introduced in season seven as a senior member of staff in the ICE detention centre. He is introduced by Linda Ferguson to new warden Natalie Figueroa. It becomes clear that Fig's influence on the centre is minimal, and that staff such as Litvack run the system their own way. Litvack's callousness and hatred towards migrants by refusing their rights to phone calls and translators, much to Fig's dismay.
Litvack is widely hated by many of the staff. When Flaca Gonzales begins working in the ICE centre in the kitchen, she tries to get her revenge on him by using her influence to have the inmates call him "Clitvack". Litvack shows Fig the courtroom designed to efficiently deport 20 migrants a day. When the court is used for children, Fig is horrified and asks Litvack how he can support this. Litvack claims that any migrant is an "illegal", no matter their age, prompting Fig to help detainee Santos Chaj have an abortion.
Litvack eventually becomes the laughing stock of the centre after his nickname becomes popularised by Flaca.
