Biography[]

Background[]

Ouija is known to have killed three people and committed WIC fraud, which she was incarcerated for. She was put into maximum security before the transfer. She has a son, Miguel. It is also known that she has a cousin, who once stabbed her in the thigh with a karate trophy.

Orange is the New Black[]

When MCC, a private prison corporation, purchases Litchfield Penitentiary, they implement a cost-saving strategy by transferring non-violent inmates at Maximum Security to their Minimum Security camp. Ouija is one of these inmates. She meets Flaca Gonzales, and asks if she killed anyone due to her drawn teardrop. Flaca tells her that she hasn't, whereas Ouija reveals that she killed three people.

Ouija then asks Flaca who the most powerful person in the prison is to form alliance with, who tells Ouija that it is Piper Chapman due to her panty-selling business. Ouija then becomes allied with Maria Ruiz' gang, and starts stealing panty material to rival Piper's business. Piper tells Maria this, who tells her to leave them alone and mind her business.

Piper then tries to sabotage Maria's business by following Ouija around the prison and find the materials, but Ouija clocks on to this and leads her to a porta potty, where she finds nothing, but gets herself dirty with human faeces. When Piper leaves the porta potty, Ouija is waiting for her and gives her the middle finger.

Still intending to sabotage Maria's business, she instructs inmate Hapakuka to attack Ouija and steal the materials, but is unsuccessful. After Piper tells CO Desi Piscatella about Maria's "gang", she starts a group called "Community Carers", which inadvertently becomes a White Supremacist group. Due to the resultant profiling of the South American inmates, Maria's group get their revenge and brand Piper with a swastika, which Ouija helps to do.

After a riot breaks out, Ouija and Ramona "Pidge" Contares play a game similar to Jeopardy! where they have to guess who the inmate is based on their record. Ouija then becomes part of the hostage security, ensuring they do not try to flee their entrapment. When this is recorded as part of Maritza Ramos and Marisol Gonzales' online fame, her son, Miguel, sees Ouija as heavily involved in the riot, which distresses him. Ouija then performs impressions of various inmates as part of an open-mic event.

After staying up too long watching the guards, Ouija and Pidge try varying methods to stay awake, including slapping each other and snorting coffee. They crash, offering Gloria Mendoza the opportunity to free the hostages to get early release, which is ultimately foiled by Maria.

During the riot storm led by Herrmann, Ouija and Pidge team up with Brandy Epps, Helen Van Maele and Kasey Sankey to delay the guards by setting up booby traps.

Ouija is eventually transferred to a prison in Cleveland, where she is seen waiting to have her head shaved after a lice infestation, and laughing as Linda Ferguson has her hair razored off.
