Caroline O'Connor was a minor antagonist in season 5 of Supergirl. She is a former special ops commander who becomes possessed by Aurafacian symbiotes which granted her powers similar to a spider. She is killed by Acrata to prevent her from revealing Leviathan's existence.
Caroline O'Connor was a special-ops command in the United States Army, highly rated in hand-to-hand combat, explosives, and a sniper. After disappearing for two years Caroline resurfaces as an assassin fused with an alien organism known as Aurafacian that managed to escape from the D.E.O. desert facility due to the actions of Lex Luthor. The Aurafacian covered Caroline's entire body in spider-like parasites that resemble tattoos. Additionally, the Aurafacian gave Caroline superhuman strength and spider-like abilities as well.
Working for Leviathan[]
O'Conner is hired by the terrorist organization Leviathan to assassinate Dr. Niles Jarrod and kills him at a night club. Caroline later finds Supergirl in her apartment and pins her against a wall using her web-shooters. Guardian bursts into the room and negates O'Connor's powers with a device from the D.E.O., but she escapes after infecting James with one of her spider tattoos.
Death[]
After Brainiac 5 decrypts the flash drive Supergirl retrieved from O'Connor's apartment she learns that her next target is Dr. Andrew Stern who works at National City Hospital. Supergirl arrives just in time to save Dr. Stern and engages O'Conner in hand to hand battle, knocking her off the overhang. Alex Danvers removes the Aurafacian from Caroline's body, trapping the entity in a magnetic device. Caroline is immediately murdered by a shadow-like assailant before the heroes have a chance to question her.
