Carrey O'Key is the main antagonist of the Regular Show episode "Karaoke Night". He is the owner of a karaoke bar called Carrey O'Key's.

He was voiced by Richard McGonagle.

Biography[]

In "Karaoke Night", Mordecai and Rigby spend a night at Carrey O'Key's karaoke bar, singing and accidentally trash-talking Benson, Pops and Skips. Mordecai and Rigby are given a videotape of their performance, while the bar keeps another tape as a promo. The next day, when Benson plans for the Park to go out to Carrey O'Key's for the night, Mordecai and Rigby ask Carrey for the tape, but Carrey cruelly refuses and bans them from his place. When the park workers later arrive at the karaoke bar, Mordecai and Rigby manage to sneak into the back office to get the tape anyway. Unfortunately, since only Pops signed up to be a singer, Carrey decides to play Mordecai and Rigby's promo video to encourage more people to sing. Carrey and his security guard Carl battle Mordecai and Rigby for the tape, soon leading to the entire club fighting each other. When the tape gets into Benson's hands, Carrey punches him in the face and yells at him for it. Benson furiously smashes the tape into Carrey's face, knocking him unconscious.

Carrey O'Key is not seen again after this, but it is implied by fans that he got arrested by the police. However, he later makes a cameo in the episode "Return of Mordecai and the Rigbys", at the Battle of the Bands contest.

Trivia[]

  • Phonetically, Carrey O'Key's fittingly sounds like the word "Karaoke".
