“ | Cash: Boy, I gotta job for you, you’re gonna spend the day with one of those Goetia princes. Blitzo: Ew, why? Cash: Because money! Now, listen, you’re being brought out to be his playmate, but I want you to steal as much from those rich f*ckers as you possibly can. Blitzø: Steal? But what if I get caught? Cash: Don’t you want your family to get a bigger tent? Better food? Don’t you want to help me and Mama? Blitzo: Of course I wanna help Mama! Cash: Then you gotta do this, everything those rich f*cks have will be worth a fortune! Blitzø: But if I get caught… I'm scared, dad! Cash: There are scarier things, aren't there, son? |

~ Cash convincing Blitzø to help rob the Goetias by gaslighting him. |
Cash Buckzo is a supporting antagonist in the adult animated black comedy web series Helluva Boss.
He is a circus owner and the father of Blitzo and Barbie Wire, as well as the former boss of Fizzarolli, who robs the Ars Goetia, leading Blitzo to meet Stolas.
He was voiced by Jonathan Freeman, who also voiced Paimon in the same series and Jafar in Disney’s Aladdin franchise.
Personality[]
Cash Buckzo is very greedy, being an inhabitant of Hell's Greed ring. He loves money and enjoys running his circus. He is also a bad father to Blitzo, forcing him to do crimes for his own benefit, as well as being very cheap about him.
His actions towards the Goetia Family imply he might be jealous of them for having more money, or he just robbed them simply for monetary gain.
Despite his cruel and abrasive personality, he is still capable of tricking others, as shown with the audience cheering after his announcement and his ability to gain the trust of demons like the Goetias.
Even with his greedy and selfish personality, Cash may have a more caring side as he attended Fizzarolli's birthday party and gave him a birthday card saying "Wish You Were My Son". This kind act (albeit very insenstive towards his own son, Blitzo) implies that he may have some better nature. Though it's entirely possible that he only cared for Fizz due to the money he brought into his circus.
Biography[]
Pilot[]
Cash is briefly mentioned by Blitzø after Moxxie criticized the I.M.P commercial. According to Blitzø, he dreamed of having a musical career, but Cash disapproved of this dream. It's unknown if this actually happened or Blitzø was just saying it to tease Moxxie.
In "The Circus"[]
He is seen at his circus while Stolas and Paimon are visiting. He introduces Blitzo and Fizzarolli, much to Stolas’s joy to see Blitzø and his act, though no one else likes it. Then, at the end of the show, Paimon arranges for Blitzo to entertain Stolas, which Blitzø's dad agrees. However, before Blitzø can leave, his dad brings him over and orders him to rob the Goetias, much to Blitzø’s reluctance.
He is later seen catching the items Blitzø stole when he tosses them in a duffel bag to Cash over a balcony.
In "Oops"[]
Some years later, Cash is seen during Fizzarolli and Blitzø's flashback. Here he attends Fizz's birthday party and gives him a card that said “Wish you were my son”, until a fire breaks out that was accidentally caused by his son. Cash flees with the other imps and the fire soon reaches a crate of fireworks, causing a massive explosion.
"Ghostf**kers"[]
Cash survived the fire and blamed Blitzø for what happened, going so far as to slap him for accidentally killing Tilla and denying him from seeing Fizzarolli at the hospital, meanwhile he lied to Fizzarolli saying that Blitzø didn't want to see him.
it is unknown if he is alive in the present day, although due to his age it's unlikely (though it's also possible that, being a Hellborn, he could be immune to dying of natural causes).
Trivia[]
- He is one of the few Helluva Boss antagonists who get away with their crimes.
- His name is never stated, but is mentioned in the credits.
- It's unknown what his relationship is with Barbie Wire or Tilla, though it’s likely that he either doesn't care for them or regularly exploits them for money like he does Blitzø.
- According to Blitzø, Fizzarolli would often perform in front of Cash as a distraction so Blitzø could steal his alcohol.
- Despite being a minor antagonist, he only appears in Blitzø's flashbacks, but he and his abuse might be considered to be the main reason of why Blitzø is the way he is.
