Biography[]
As a teenager, Cashmere volunteered for the Hunger Games. Being a Career Tribute who had obviously been training for her entire life, she managed to win them. Since then, she's been living in the Victors' Village and works as a mentor for subsequent tributes, which may include Marvel and Glimmer. Her twin-brother Gloss also participated in the Hunger Games and won them.
When the 75th Hunger Games comes and its tributes are chosen from victors of the previous Games, Gloss and Cashmere are reaped again.
During training, Cashmere usually spends time throwing knives with her brother Gloss. They once invite Katniss to practice making hammocks with them, with Katniss describing them as polite and cool. Cashmere also tells her she looked ridiculous in her clothes. During the interview, Gloss says that she can't stop crying when she thinks about how the citizens of the Capitol will suffer due to the loss of twenty-three victors.
In the arena, Cashmere is the last career to arrive at the Cornucopia. When Katniss and the rest of the Rebel Alliance's tributes leave, Cashmere is seen forming an alliance with the other Careers, Brutus, Enobaria and Gloss, as they plan on how they will attack the remaining tributes. She manages to stab Seeder to death in the Cornucopia bloodbath and retrieve several throwing knives in the process. In the directors cut of the bloodbath, Cashmere is also seen throwing a knife at Beetee, but he manages to survive.

Together, the Careers walk across the arena, looking for the remaining tributes. When the Rebels Alliance return back to the Cornucopia to retrieve more weapons on the 2nd day, the Careers attack them immediately. After her brother Gloss is shot in the chest by Katniss with an arrow, Cashmere runs out of the water and prepares to throw a knife at Katniss, but Johanna throws her axe into Cashmere's chest, killing her instantly. She is last seen when her dead body is thrown into the water as the Cornucopia spins.
