Cassilda Blackwood is the secondary antagonist of the indie horror game The Baby in Yellow.
She is the mother of her possessed son who she must feed by tricking unsuspecting babysitters into baby sitting him, or she was to lazy to do it herself so she got babysitters to do it.
She is voiced by Billie Fulford-Brown, as shown in the credits.
Personality[]
Cassilda seems to be soft spoken and polite. She seems to like going to concerts as heard in act 2. However, there is a darker side to her, where she lures babysitter to her demonic son so he can kill or enslave their souls. She doesn't seem to regret any of these actions.
Biography[]
Cassilda's voice is heard in the beginning for each intro of a new chapter installment. On the first one, she books 3 nights for the “Little Prince” (nicknamed for the Baby), as she puts the key under the pothole for The Sitter. On the second act, she thanks the sitter for helping The Baby. Cassilda is off to the concert, and wants someone else to check the Baby. And on the third act, Cassilda is horrified cause the baby wasn't given a soul as promised by her. She tries to get another babysitter, but is presumably killed or at the very least enslaved by The Baby in Yellow. In an easter egg of the new update in act 3 when you follow the black cat, when you enter Cassilda's room you will be given a audio tape by a beacon of light. When played you will hear Carcosa whispers and then you will later hear Cassilda repeatedly saying help.
Trivia[]
- She seems to have a connection or some what relationship with the doctor as we see he gave her gifts for the baby which consists of multicolored bottles that do different things when fed to the baby.
- It is unknown what happened to the father whether he left, or was eaten by the baby.
