Catarina Devon is a minor antagonist in the One Piece franchise.
She is one of the Ten Titanic Captains, and Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates' sixth ship. Before joining Teach, Catarina was already one of the most feared and notorious pirates in the world. She was said to be the most dangerous female pirate to ever be put in Impel Down.
She was voiced by Kimiko Saitō in the Japanese version of the animeand Natalie Hoover in the English dub, who also voiced Sugar in the same series.
Personality[]
Catarina is a bit of a rare example in the story of One Piece to be a truly diabolical evil being. While the atrocities committed by the World Nobles are done as a display of power and hedonism, and there are many pirates in the world who are outright evil, Devon is a woman who is evil for the sake of being evil. Noted as the most dangerous female pirate to ever be imprisoned in Impel Down, she is a globally feared and exceedingly notorious serial killer, who takes twisted pleasure in hunting down beautiful women and severing their heads, keeping them as part of her special collection. She desired to have Boa Hancock's head to her collection. Due to her dark perverted nature, she fell victim to Boa Hancock's Devil Fruit powers.
She is very loyal to her admiral, Blackbeard. She considered Teach to be special due to his lineage.
Her distinct laughter is "Murunfuffuffu".
Powers and Abilities[]
Catarina Devon is a veteran of the most dangerous sea in the world, the New World. The fact that she survived the death brawl initiated by Teach shows she is very powerful. Despite of her strength, she is no match for the former Warlord, Boa Hancock.
She ate the Inu Inu no mi model: Kyubi no Kitsune, a mythical Zoan Devil fruit that allows her to transform into a nine tailed fox. Similar to Clone Clone fruit (but far more powerful), it allows her to shapeshift into other people by touching their bodies, but she also takes on the clothing of those impersonated as wel.
She has a strong will to resist Haoshoku Haki. But she has a very weak will to resist Hancock's beauty when she turned Devon to stone.

A pirate and serial killer, she has the horrific hobby of mass murdering beautiful women, and removing their heads, which she keeps in a grotesque collection.
Catarina Devon's crimes were so heinous, that when she was eventually captured, she was deemed the worst female pirate in history and was sentenced to the secret Level 6 of Impel Down, where the world's worst criminals are sent to be forgotten about forever, their names literally being erased from the history books.

Impel Down Arc[]
When Blackbeard infiltrated Impel Down and freed all the Level 6 prisoners, Devon displayed her overwhelming power by being one of the four survivors of the bloody battle royale that ensued.
Marineford Arc[]
She was present when he attacked Marineford, being identified as the Crescent Moon Hunter and took part in delivering the fatal blow to Whitebeard.
Once Whitebeard speaks his last words and dies standing, Devon and the crew cover Whitebeard up with a large black cloak with Blackbeard also going inside. She remarked in eagerness for the impending show her captain had in store. After much time, Devon and the crew lift up the cloak to reveal Blackbeard and Whitebeard. After Blackbeard reveals that he has stolen the abilities of Whitebeard's devil fruit, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit (Gura-Gura no Mi), Devon and the crew seem happy and pleased for their captain.
After the Red-Haired Pirates show up at Marineford, Blackbeard and his crew leave Marineford, apparently not yet ready to face Shanks.
Post-War Arc[]
The Blackbeard pirates were seen on a burning island in the New World resting from their battle at Marineford and having defeated as well as capturing the Bonney pirates.
Devon wanted to reach a new town to raid, stating she wanted to ditch her prison garb. Shiliew told her that she would have to put up with it for a while.
She joins her fellows in mocking the helpless Bonney Pirates for losing to them so quickly. She also laughs at Blackbeard when he is rejected by Bonney after he gave her the option to become his girl.
They were hoping to get to get a ship form the Marines to go into New World but they realized that the deal was cut off when they saw Akainu on board a ship coming towards the island. They managed to escape from the island without getting caught and left Jewelry Bonney and her crew to be arrested.
During the Timeskip[]
A year after the crew killed Whitebeard, they fought the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates led by Marco and defeated them with ease.
She has since become of the highest ranked members of his crew the Ten Titanic Captains, after his ascension to the status of Yonko. She became captain of the sixth ship.
She accompanied Teach to Amazon Lily in attempt to kill Boa Hancock to steal her devil fruit and for Devon to add Hancock's head to her collection. However, she was petrified by the former Warlord until she was reverted back and retreated from Amazon Lily due to the arrival of Silvers Rayleigh.
After a failure attempted to kill Boa Hancock, she and Augur assigned by Teach at Egghead where their mission is completed. They were confronted by Jaygarcia Saturn (who Devon touched in order to mimic his appearance). When Saturn demanded what is Blackbeard's intention, Devon and Augur revealed to take over the world. Saturn tries to attack them but were teleported by Augur's powers. Devon tells Augur he should teleport more further but only revealed to her he is not yet fully mastered his powers. They later meet Caribou who begs them to take him with them due to his idolizing Teach. Devon and Augur are not buying of Caribou. But they are listening of Caribou having valuable informations for Teach. Devon contracted Blackbeard, asking him if she kills Caribou, but Teach denied it when telling her and Augur to just bring Caribou to him, but if the information he got wasn't good enough, they will execute Caribou.
