Char Aznable has declared Evil Creation is to be renamed to Category:Evil Creations for the following reason(s): Plural, also please don't remove this unless you're an admin, thank you. Please discuss it on the talk page for this article. "I told you I am not Casval, I am Char Aznable." |
“ | I haven't got much time. I pray this record of our experiment survives. A year ago, we discovered a fossil that proved to be the remains of the ancient Pokémon, Mew. There was sufficient genetic material to replicate Mew, but Giovanni, who funded our project, insisted we try to design super clones more powerful than any living Pokémon. Many attempts failed, but finally our experiments proved successful. We produced a living Pokémon; we called it Mewtwo. But for some reason, the creature's anger is out of control. With its psychic powers, it is destroying our laboratory. We dreamed of creating the world's strongest Pokemon... and we succeeded. | „ |
~ Dr. Fuji's final words commenting on the creation of Mewtwo. |
“ | You wouldn't know that because I didn't when I created you. I'm sorry CLU. I'm sorry. | „ |
~ Kevin Flynn to CLU 2 |
Evil Creations are villains who were created artificially in some fashion. They can either have been created by another villains themselves as part of their evil purposes (e.g. Metal Sonic, Majin Buu, Omnidroid, Cell, the Daleks, Stick Figures), or, in some cases, have been originally created for good, but went against their original intent and became evil after going rogue (e.g. Ultron, HAL 9000, PAL, Roy Batty). Evil creations can range from man-made artificial intelligences and robots to bio-engineered organic beings. The most famous example of an evil creation is Frankenstein's Monster's from Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein.
These villains usually don't have moral agency due to being created to be evil, though this isn't always the case. On some occasions, these villains can be Pure Evil if they cross a line the creator themselves wouldn't cross, or turn on their creator in favor of causing as much suffering as possible doing unerelated things that weren't originally suppoused to do in their original planing (e.g. Max Zorin, most versions of Ultron, NOS-4-A2, Black Noir, Abomination, Bryan Fury, Cell, and Vanitas).
