Godzilla is definitely a representation of the wrath of nature. The theme is man versus nature and Godzilla is certainly the nature side of it. You can't win that fight. Nature's always going to win and that's what the subtext of our movie is about. He's the punishment we deserve.
~ Gareth Edwards about Godzilla.
A Force of Nature is a Villain who is treated akin to a mysteriously unknown force rather than an individual with a distinct personality. Often Supreme Beings of unimaginable abilities, they often embody raw primordial powers. They are often cataclysmic in nature but do not always have to be. Milder examples of this kind of antagonist would be Cosmic Entities or Deities manifesting as clouds, mists or other weather phenomena and natural disasters or those talked about as if they were such.

However, do not mistake them for real-life natural occurrences (such as storms, earthquakes, etc.); all beings listed here show at least some form of basic intelligence which is vital for them to qualify as Villains in the first place.
