You symbolize the hope that women will one day win an argument with their husbands, that they won't be catcalled when they walk down the streets, that their bosses won't talk about their tits anymore, that they'll make just as much money as men make, that the FIGHT is WINNABLE! But when I kill you, they'll see that there is no hope. Women can't lead. Women can't win! They will always be outsmarted and outmuscled! They need to finally understand that what they CAN and SHOULD do is SHUT UP, KNOW THEIR PLACE AND MAKE ME A GODDAMN SANDWICH!
~ Kai Anderson to Ally Mayfair-Richards.
The whole town's talking about it. It's not right for a woman to read. Soon she starts getting ideas and thinking...
~ Gaston LeGume mocking Belle.
Harry: "This girl is important to me."
Norman: "Harry, please. Look at her. You think a woman like that's sniffing around because she likes your personality?"
Harry: "What are you saying?"
Norman: "Your mother was beautiful, too. They're
all beautiful, until they're snarling after your trust fund like a pack of ravening wolves."
Harry: "You're wrong about her, Dad."
Norman: "A word to the not-so-wise about your little girlfriend: Do what you need to with her, then
broom her fast!"
~ Norman Osborn disapproving of Harry's relationship with Mary Jane Watson.

Misogynists are villains who are known for chauvinism and/or misogyny. It can be physical or emotional abuse specifically towards women, or it may be a deep-rooted prejudice against equal rights. A misogynist may see girls and women as evil, debased, or even subhuman and mere objects. The level of misogyny can vary from a sexist attitude to outright murder (or even cause some serial killing). It is also not uncommon for them to be perverts, rapists, pimps, etc.

Although associated mainly with males, it is possible for females to be misogynists as well (examples being Jane Tiptree, Giffany and Sharon Quinzel).

The female counterpart of misogyny is misandry, women hating men. See Misandrists for more details on that.

Important note: A villain who hurts females for reasons that are unrelated to gender do not count as misogynists.

Good examples of Misogynists include Sunny Jim, Gaston LeGume, Hugo Martinez, Jabba the Hutt, Peter Griffin, Sir Piers Pomfrey, Homelander, Glenn Quagmire and Kai Anderson.
