To qualify as an Ogre, a character must display inhuman appearances not often seen in regular Giants, making them more "monster" than "giant." They must also feed primarily on human flesh (or at the least sapient beings) and display great levels of violence.
Ogres are also generally much smaller than many giants - while giants in folklore and myth are often hundreds of feet tall most Ogres are only slightly larger than a human, though their are many Ogres that are significantly larger - few Ogres grow to the same colossal heights as True Giants, however.
