Polluters are villains who commit crimes against the environment, whether it be out of disrespect and/or greed (such as immoral businessmen/corrupt officials). Or are suffering from Delusions (some Fanatics or Cultists). or genuine malice (some supervillains and/or Dark Lords). Either way, they are often anti-environmentalists. They are the opposite of Nature-Lovers.

They are the opposite of Eco-Terrorists, who commit crimes for what they see as good for the environment, though they can overlap, particularly in cases where the motives of an eco-terrorist falls from well-intentioned, yet morally questionable behavior to eventual deliberate maliciousness for personal gain.
