Predators are carnivorous creatures whether they are Animals, Demons, Parasites, and/or Aliens who hunt and kill for food. This villain archetype is one of the oldest, if not, the oldest since predatory creatures of all shapes and sizes have collectively existed for as long as life has on Earth.

Predators typically act out of instinct and a need to eat rather than genuine maliciousness; thus they are considered Ferals.

However, this should not be entirely mistaken with human predators who are Cannibals and/or Man-Eaters if they hunt within their own species or Perverts if they are sexual predators. This category is for creatures who have to eat other creatures in order to live, such as Animalistic Predators - however, these categories can overlap in some cases.

NOTES[]

• Although many of these villains hunt and kill for food, they don't necessarily need to do so in order to qualify for this category. Some of these predators are simply members of species that are predatory in nature, such as felines, canines, bears, and birds of prey.
• Some of these villains may not necessarily be qualified as Pure Evil due to their actions being driven by survival instincts. However, they may still qualify if they exhibit sadistic sportsmanship and derive pleasure from inflicting pain on their prey during the process of killing or consuming them, even if their primary intention is food (Dag, It, Ridley, One-Eye, Night Feeder, Creeper, Cell, Red Death, Ke-Pa, Budzo, Lord of the Locusts, The Smile Entity, Lavos, and The Ink Demon).
• Additionally, there are cases where their role as predators is unrelated to their motives and behavior (SCP-682, Krang One, King Ghidorah (MonsterVerse), Scar, Bloodwolf, General Scales, Mind Flayer, King K. Rool, Absolute Solver, Tai Lung, Diablo, Death (Puss in Boots), Qu, Bowser, Queen Chrysalis, Evil Entity, Pumpkinhead, Koba and Jimmy Crystal).
