A Provoker is a villain who has wronged the hero so badly that it makes a more personal rivalry between them. The hero would often act on rage to stop this villain and not just for defensive purposes.

A Provoker is vice versa to a Nemesis where the villain is provoked by the hero. Although they can be both at once if the nemises provokes the hero out of revenge in some way.
