I have no allies, for I have no equals.
~ Makuta Teridax

Rogues do evil deeds alone with no minions, leaders, or supporters. They are similar to and overlap with those such as One-Man Armies and Thrill-Seekers in that they single-handedly fight heroes. Rogue villains may be the only ones in the stories that they are in (if stories have multiple villains and/or storylines, they may instead be the only ones of the particular storylines they appear in).

This also fits those who once worked with/for other villains or the light side, but were exiled, left to fulfill their purposes, and never a part of anything or other reasons best explained by the pages below.

NOTES[]

  • Minions, Right-Hands, Pawns, Leaders, Cults, Cult leaders, Gangs, Teams, Partners in Crime, and Organizations will never be in this category because these type of villains always do their evil deeds with others unless they later decide to betray their own allies/organizations to complete their own goals (e.g. Dimentio) or had allies in the past and now work alone (e.g. Omega Red). Families and Hostile Species also cannot be in this category due to them being comprised of multiple villains instead of a single villain.
  • Also, if some villain was formerly a rogue but they later work with another villain, they should never be in this category.
  • It's unlikely for Control Freaks, Tyrants, and ruler-type villains to be in this category as they almost always have henchmen and others under their control to assist them. They are only qualify if they control or rule by themselves only without any assistance, and any individuals that help them are mere pawns that may or may not voluntarily do a few of their biddings (e.g. Miss Hattie).
