Little Toa, you have not yet begun to see even the barest outlines of my plans. I have schemes within schemes that would boggle your feeble mind. You may counter one, but there are a thousand more of which you know nothing. Even my ... setbacks ... are planned for, and so I shall win in the end.
~ Makuta Teridax boasting of his complex and ever-evolving plan to overthrow Mata Nui.

Strategic Villains are evildoers who use strategy to take out their foes instead of facing their enemies head-on. Most of these villains are Masterminds or at the very least intelligent and/or deceitful enough to pose serious problems within the story that they appear in; however, it is possible for some strategists to be Dimwits, especially if all of their tactics miserably fail.

Not to be confused with Strategist heroes.
