Does the primary antagonist of a story arc can count as a "Big Bad" in series like Dragon Ball or One Piece in which each story arc as a primary antagonist of its own without link to the others? Balthus Dire 12:27, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

In Dragonball's case, I'd say that Frieza is the one and only true Big Bad of the series, since he was the one responsible for wiping out the Saiyans and Goku being sent to Earth in the first place, thus setting the entire story into motion. Also, both Cell and Majin Buu were merely evil creations in the first place.Moleman 9000 03:45, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

Then we agree. To me, being the primary antagonist of one story arc is not enough to be a "Big Bad" but I cannot remove entries from the list without knowing the opinion of other users. Balthus Dire 10:34, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

are big bads just because there the primary antagonist? Leikster16 (talk) 21:40, August 19, 2019 (UTC)
