Should robots be included in this category? I personally don't think so, since they have their own category and are already mechanical, so they can't really be "mechanically modified" in the terms of the description.--Snakewhip 05:30, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
No Robots, Androids, Cyborgs or Synthoids[]
This category should be for power-suit wearing villains, people who plug themselves into large war-machines or computer-interfaces and so on.. it should not be for robots (which are machines and thus really have NO place here), androids (again, simply advanced machines), or synthoids - it should also no longer be used for Cyborgs as I feel implanting technology into oneself to the extent one permanently alters one's physical make-up is going further than usual.
For those that argue advanced technology-use is just another word for gadgeteers, this is solved by the fact gageteers only utilize their own inventions (showing great intelligence) and can survive without them - whilst a mechanically modified villain may utilize stolen technology (such as Apocalypse) and is often EXTREMELY weak without their technology backing them up BloodPony (talk) 05:35, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
OK - since admins disagree I'll say cyborgs should be added, however I still believe robots, androids and cyborgs (along with any other A.I.) should NOT be in this category: I still think this category should be for advanced or unconventional tech-users rather than the tech itself BloodPony (talk) 12:07, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
