"info is info" - well then Eoin how about a blunt answer to a blunt statement - theft is theft.. people work hard writing articles and they do not always like others copying it and not giving credit, if one is going to take information from other sources they MUST give credit or it is theft. if the author says they do not want it copied then you MUST respect that.. just because something appears on the internet does not mean it is right (or even legal) to take it as your own. Revision as of 15:39, 24 September 2017
I think heavily plagiarised articles should be deleted to discourage the common practice of people ripping articles from other wikis - if an article doesn't even bother to remove outside links then it should be deleted as a matter of principle (we can keep some that are not as blatant).. seriously though, it gives the wiki a bad name if we accept work that is obviously stolen The Voice 16:48, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
To a certain extent, I agree, I believe half of the "batman villains" pages is plagiarised from the Batman wiki, and to be honest, I'm getting fed up with adding the Plagiarism template and the rewrite template on all the plagiarised pages... Amnestyyy 17:23, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
I agree its annoying to keep having to redue pages because of people that are too lazy to write it themselve,Jester of chaos
Rewrite? plagiarism? who cares? Info is info, I don't see what's wrong. EoinGhost 1:13, March 26, 2013
