Cattleya is a minor antagonist in the Japanese web-turned-light novel, manga and anime franchise Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest.
She was a soldier of Garland, who was sent to obtain "ancient magic" from the Orcus Labyrinth. She was ordered to recruit the "Hero Party" or kill them, as she ambushed them. However, she was killed by the monstrous Hajime Nagumo when he shot her head in coldblooded causing Hajime's classmates and former bullies to be afraid of Nagumo.
She was voiced by Hitomi Nabatame in the original Japanese version, and by Amber Lee Connors in the English dubbed version.
Personality[]
Cattleya is highly cruel and sadistic toward humans. But she was ordered to recruit the "Hero Party" or kill them if they refuse. She finds Kouki Amanogawa's prides to be immature and annoying as she coldly told him they are in war.
She is terrified of the monstrous, Hajime Nagumo. When witnessed her magic has no effect on him, she asked if he is human only for the latter told her that he was once but not anymore in response, she called him a monster. When Hajime tell Cattleya of the monsters were created by "ancient magic" by clearing the labyrinth, Cattleya acknowledge to Hajime if he is anything like them, both of his monstrous and inhuman strength were checked out which got all his answers. As a sense of a warrior, she rather die at Hajime's hands instead of begging her life but warned him that her lover will avenge her one day which Hajime doesn't care who enemies are either demon or "god" as he killed her.
According to her lover, Mikhail, Cattleya was extremely care and respectful as she was ordered to recruit the "Hero Party" for a reason.
Biography[]
Little known of her past. She has a lover named Mikhail.
She was sent to the Orcus Labyrinth to retrieve "Ancient Magic". She conflicted and overruns the so-called "Hero Party" with her monster army until Hajime Nagumo and his harem arrived due to Kousuke Endou warning them about the heroes' predicament. After her monsters were killed, she attempted to kill Hajime and tried to retreat but her attack has no effect on Hajime and her escape was cut off. When witnessed her strongest attack did nothing on Hajime, Cattleya asked Hajime if he is human only for the latter told her that he was once but no longer causing her to call Nagumo a monster. After she was shot at the legs by Hajime for answers of the monsters were created from ancient magic, she realized Hajime has already cleared the Orcus Labyrinth and tell him if he is anything like them, his monstrous and inhuman strength were checked out which given all the answers. While her conversation is over, Cattleya told Hajime to finish her but warned him of her lover will avenge her one day which Hajime doesn't care who comes at him be they demons or "god" as he will kill them all. He then killed Cattleya by shooting her head while disregarded of Kouki's pleas and caused almost all of Hajime's classmates to be afraid of his monstrous strength and murderous intent, even his former bullies are more afraid of Hajime because of this.

After her death and Kaori left the "heroes" to join Hajime's party, Garland's troops led by Freid Bagwa investigate in the Orcus Labyrinth. but found Cattleya's corpse. Later, Eri Nakamura used Cattleya's body to communicate with the demons without getting caught by the so-called "heroes" and told them everything of both the Labyrinth has already been cleared and Cattleya's death by the hands of Hajime Nagumo and his lovers. She also offered herself to betray her classmates to join them as their spy in exchange to spare her and Kouki's life but kill the rest of them.
