Feed. Feed. Feed.
~ The Celliuts' never-ending thoughts.

The Celliuts are an antagonistic faction in the RPC mythos, serving as a minor antagonistic faction of the Cosmic Embers alternate canon. They are a species of giant alien bacteria that assimilate any living creature they can find.

Overview[]

The Celliuts are red bacteria-like aliens, and can range in size from 2 in/5 cm to 15 mi/24 km.

The Celliuts have seemingly no planet of their own, and travel in space thanks to their durability to cosmic radiation and vacuum conditions. They can detect all life forms in a one lightyear radius, at which point they will compress the space between themselves and their target to assimilate all lifeforms they find. After assimilating someone, they will duplicate in a manner similar to normal bacteria.

The Celliuts also have the ability to hijack mechanical electrical systems through the implementation and manipulation of electrical currents. With enough time, they will fully integrate the foreign object into their body.

The Celliuts are hostile towards any other living organism, and while sometimes multiple Celliuts might collaborate it's more likely that they will try to assimilate each other.

The tale Feed (which is told from a Celliut's perspective) shows that they have little to nothing in mind beyond feeding, although the fact they take over and utilize others' technology shows that they do have some intelligence.

Longe range nuclear and thermal weapons are the best way to deal with Celliuts since kinetic weapons are ineffective against them.
