The Cemetery Wind Agents are supporting antagonists of the 2014 film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. They are operatives working for Cemetery Wind under the command of James Savoy and Harold Attinger.
Biography[]
The Cemetery Wind soldiers were hired by Harold Attinger as his personal operatives, with James Savoy being assigned as field commander for them. Although tasked to hunt down only Decepticons, Attinger secretly had them hunt down the Autobots instead, believing them to be a menace to society. They have been presumed to kill several Autobots, including Leadfoot.
Sometime later, they joined up with Cybertronian bounty hunter Lockdown to hunt down and kill Ratchet, who has been hiding in an abandoned boat. Using a fleet of mini drones and explosives, they were able to ambush Ratchet, who tried to escape from them, only to be ambushed by them more, losing his leg in the process. As the soldiers surrounded him, Ratchet pleaded for mercy, but Lockdown decided to kill him instead. Ratchet's remains were sent to KSI.
They were then unexpectedly called in by Lucas Flannery when he found out that Cade Yeager was hiding Optimus Prime, though he was unaware of their true intentions as he wanted to report him to the authorities in exchange for a paycheck. Approaching the Yeager family's barn, Savoy told Cade that they were trying to find Optimus Prime and was somewhat aware of the unexpected phone call by Lucas, though Cade refused stating that he wasn't for sale. Despite this, Savoy ordered his men to find Optimus despite Cade's protests that he is entering the barn unauthorized. The operatives use drones and try to enter the barn to find Optimus, though unaware that he is being sheltered in the barn's basement. They also found out about a live missile inside, though Lucas protests that he carried it out to the trash and admitted that he was a dud. Cade then lied to Savoy that Optimus left after he "restored" him, but Savoy ordered his men to surround and threaten Cade, Tessa, and Lucas and had them pinned to the ground. Under orders from Attinger, he decided to threaten Tessa's life. Holding Cade at gunpoint, he told him where Optimus Prime was in exchange for Tessa's life, which Cade continued to feign about his disappearance, but still refused and ordered his men to kill Tessa. However, Optimus Prime emerged out of hiding and begun killing the surrounding operatives one by one before having Cade, Tessa, and Lucas to flee. Meanwhile, Shane Dyson, Tessa's boyfriend, also came to the rescue and ran over several operatives heading for Yeager's barn before picking them up. The agents begun to give chase to them as two of them in Rally Fighters drove through cornfields. One agent was able to run over Shane's car as they tried to lose the agent. They then drove through a neighborhood where they were able to lose him. Another agent also in hot pursuit accidentally crashed into a nearby neighborhood tree, killing them in the process. The agents continued pursuing the Yeagers, Lucas, and Shane through a nearby town. One agent tried shooting them using his gatling gun in one of the SUVs. They were able to lose the agents by going inside a nearby building, nearly running over a party. As the agents continued to pursue them in an abandoned plant, Optimus was able to kill several agents while fighting Lockdown. As Shane drove through the factory, Savoy, inside one of the vehicles, ordered the agents to take out their guns and kill them at all costs. However, Shane was able to jump out of the factory as the pursuing agent crashed his own car, killing him. The Yeagers and Shane escaped with Optimus' help, though at the cost of Lucas. Following the failed operation to kill the Yeagers, they witnessed Attinger scold Savoy over his failure and that their priority was to hunt them down at all costs, saying that even if he reports their illegal activities to the police, he will still be captured.
In China, Savoy had a few operatives chase down a redeemed Joshua Joyce and Su Yueming as they entered a nearby building. Inside the elevator, the two operatives surrounded Joshua, only to be easily beaten by Joshua and Su together, alongside a Chinese man. Savoy and Attinger were the only remaining members left in China as Savoy tried to kill Cade, Tessa, Shane, alongside Joshua and Su only to be killed by Cade. Attinger was later killed by Optimus. It could heavily imply that most of the agents disbanded, dissolved, and arrested after Cemetery Wind's illegal activities were finally exposed. However, some of them continued their anti-Cybertronian agenda by joining the Transformers Reaction Force.
